Dortch released?

I hope so.

Ugh.

One thing our decision makers are not: dumb.

I know. Having to settle for Jamo and Gibbs’ paltry acceleration out of the slot will be such a drag.

I have the Lions keeping 5 WRs and I expected Dortch would be in and Kennedy out.

Looks like Kennedy is in then?

Ha, well like I said, better players overall. But I’d rather risk Dortch in there

Risk? As a slot WR?

I just don’t think good, not great slot only WRs are very valuable today. Everybody wants to weaponize that position with killers.

Yeah, lots of hits from LBs, etc…

I’m not overly fussed about this, I just rue the loss of his specific skill set as a #4 lightning-quick slot guy than I do a returner. But no, it’s still not a huge loss

I’m not really worried about slot rep wear and tear.

I thought Dortch was a lock after we lost Law. When we drafted Law I was not real concerned about Dortch anymore.

If they don’t resign him then maybe he didn’t fit the culture…….

That may be a stretch but we’ll never know……

I mean oc new his game pretty well

Like I said it’s a stretch but it’s just an odd release imo……

I hope it is as others have stated that he has a handshake agreement to return.

TK making the team for the first time in 10 years would be pretty epic

Oh i agree. I would be shocked if a team doesn’t pick him up

If Dortch doesn’t end up back here, will be interesting to see who the returner is-specifically Punt Return

Maybe Lucky played his way on the team? He sure was open more than 7/11 yesterday

Without Dortch, our receiver depth looks disgusting to me lol.

I can’t imagine a WR isn’t coming in here shortly.

Yes, it’s possible that there’s a gentlemans’ agreement to come back. I don’t know all the ins and outs, but I remember similar hijinks that are legal.
