Yeah, but, that equals his average yearly production in the NFL. There’s a reason the cut him.
I have yet to see any indication the Lions put much value in punt returns.
I don’t get the fuss about losing Dortch.

Interesting idea. I see he has 3 career return touchdowns. 2 on kicks, 1 on a punt.
So the Lions gave him a guaranteed minimum contract. Do the Bills assume that and we’re off the hook, or what? I’ve learned to do this with the Lions:

Unless a team has a truly dynamic punt returner that can either take a return to the house… or at least scare the punting team into a few bad angled punts… it isn’t worth prioritizing a punt returner on the 53-man.

Amon-Ra said on his show that Dortch was taken by surprise when it came to the heavy/difficult practices. I’m wondering if that is playing a role in his move away to a different team.

1000% a punt returner should be prioritized on every single NFL roster. The hidden yardage battle in a game that often comes down to 3 points or less is huge.
That being said, we don’t know that this team doesn’t already have a better returner than Dortch on this team. I would venture a guess that they think they do
