Anyone did any mock drafts yet. Lions have a ton of holes, with Branch being out, now need to Find a S somewhere. Im kinda wondering do we go best player available or a need. I think they could wait for oline in the 2nd and get the best de left on the board
Will do some later
Think its LT in the 1st or DE, though that LT is likely gonna be sitting a year atleast
Yeah. I think ot, de, s are 3 of the biggest needs and sign a vet center
Agreed with that
Also TE2/3 will be a need, two fourth round picks should help with that though
The trenches should be our main focal point for sure.
And after 2 years of adding defensive backs by the bushel we will have to address that again too.
I also hate to be this guy, but, now is the time most of us will be sitting here wishing that we still had those third round picks to use.
I wouldn’t count on Decker at all -by himself, maybe if he had somebody real strong, skill-wise next to him-he might make another season, but I think Decker has pretty much had it.
What will it take to land Logan Jones the Center from Iowa? Outstanding production, humble guy (willing to switch from D to O halfway through his career), comes from a great program, & was top 10 on Bruce Feldman’s freak list I believe?
Let’s go get him
Is that when you mock other people’s drafts? Yeah, I’m sure I’ll do some of those.
Yeah I really liked him , then believe I read he had like 30 inch arms, tuff player
Am I the only guy who doesn’t think we add CB in first 5 rounds?
I expect focus on OL, DE, DT and S.
I think we are set at WR. I would be annoyed if we made an early round pick at TE. I think the staff likely loves combo of LaPorta and Wright but not sure when Wrights contract is wrong, I mean over.
tackle and center seem likely.
I’d love a backup QB later in draft to compete.
On the bright side, means we might have a chance to get him!
If Kerby is back, I think Harper is a good guy at S. I’d fix the OL and edge with every pick and dollar we have
Please. I miss him and his personality.
@Thats2 @CuriousHusker what do you guys think of Keldric Faulk as a scheme fit opposite Hutch?
I think he’s the Kobe beef version of Commish. I like him quite a bit but I think the pass rush upside mostly comes from the inside.
I’m loving the Bain drops bc of arm length concerns the most out of realistic possibilities.
Frankly the team needs to either hit a home run with their 1st round pick, or trade down.
Where did the Lions find amazing bargains before (Campbell, Laporta, Branch) is in that late 1st, early 2nd round.
Lose out, get a high pick and either draft an LT or DE star - or trade down with the Jets for a bunch of picks.
This team needs LT, C, DE, another DE, S for Branch out and then another S for injuries.
$3.3 mill in 2026
Draft players who don’t have an injury history in the NCAA
That would be a real start
Oline oline oline
That is the team identity.
Rags and Decker might not last a full season or might not come back at all
