I don’t find that to be how body transformations typically work but we shall see. If you scout to the highs there is undoubtedly some super human stuff. I do get the concern.
The nickname Krispy Kreme is what scares me the most tbh.

Right, then you have the weight concerns on top of all that, and I’d just rather let someone else take the risk.
And he is undoubtedly an explosive athlete linearly, better than most of the behemoths of late honestly. Better than Manu? On tape, probably a little, yeah. But not appreciably imo. I think we should be capped on gigantic linear OL for now, let’s get some guys where we don’t have to worry about them eating themselves out of the league.
BC of Manu similarities and assumed BH OT preferences in general Proctor word in theory be the perfect skokescreeen.
That’s what I’m going with.
I’ve long stated my preference for Kamikaze QBs as a backup QB strategy. Haynes King is my favorite of this profile this cycle. Would add a QB sub-package wrinkle as well.

Hard to trust Payton but hopefully he’s right and we did talk to Haynes at the Shrine Bowl. Can’t imagine he costs more than a 6th or 7th.
So for the record, despite being listed at 6 foot, Pavia checked in at 5’9 7/8ths at the Senior Bowl.
# 6 players to watch for Detroit Lions at Senior Bowl this week
===
Florida’s Jake Slaughter is the best pure center in the game, but Zuhn played some at the position this year after starting at left tackle for the Aggies in 2022-24. He shared the SEC’s top lineman award with Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor, had the nation’s best pass blocking grade in the regular season, according to Pro Football Focus, and at a minimum could interest a Lions team that might need to address the center position in free agency with his versatility.

Kilgore is a ball-hawking safety with good size (6-1, 211) and the ability to play in the slot. He had an SEC-best five interceptions as a true sophomore in 2024 and a team-high 10 pass breakups this season. Just 21 years old this week, Kilgore graduated in three years and would provide insurance for a secondary that lost safeties Kerby Joseph (knee) and Brian Branch (Achilles) to season-ending injuries this year.
DJ’s top 50. Interesting stuff in here.
Seems like Derrick Moore was the big winner at the Senior Bowl today.

There’s a video of Moore at the link
Hardly surprised. We need to figure out a new way to talk about potential value. Tbe way we’ve been going about it ain’t working. We need a draft cipher.
I go another way… we’re just so good at spotting value, we’re inevitably end up disappointed.
I saw that rep, sheesh. It’s the one making the rounds, this year’s Mike Green vs Conerly. Except Moore has genuine power and Bell isn’t light-footed and on his weaker side.
I think Trey Wallace would be a good day 3 guy if he lasts. I also think a trade down makes a lot of sense given our needs and lack of 3rd rounder.
Blake Miller, OT Clemson keeps showing up as available for our second pick. Listed as a RT, but is 6’7" 315. Kind of similar to Taylor Decker. Very good pass blocker, just OK run blocker. Consistent ALL-ACC starter. Not flashy but a high floor. Any input on him? Seems like he’d fit better at LT.
Doubt that he’ll make it that far. Draft process should help him since he’s such a good athlete.
