Draft talk 2025/2026

That’s one of the things I really like about Banks actually, that he can do that - or some semblance of that - even at his size. Those guys who can seemingly teleport, they’re tough to stop.

Who is the red and white team in the highlights? The offensive line play certainly looked familiar but I know we haven’t played Navy. Stanford ?

Pretty sure it’s VMI

For sure. But a totally different value proposition.

A DT I like on day 3 is Nick Barret from S Carolina. He is more of a run stuffer but when he splits a gap he can close in a hurry to wreak havoc in the backfield. He checked in bigger than I thought at 6’3” 312 but it is that 1.71 10 yard split that shows up on tape. I would have a late day 2 grade on him but he seems to be projected more in the 6th round. I think he would be a nice fit if we lose Lopez.

Heidenrach is fascinating from a roster composition standpoint. You can probably go 9 total between WR and RB if he’s one of those 9.

Maybe Randall too

Josh Cameron too.

That last cut always feels aggravating. It’s an interesting use of a late rounder.

He reminds me of the big WR from Arkansas that Tennessee drafted. The guy that ran Vrabel out of town. I think the Ark kid was a little better after the catch and went in the 1st round. Cameron is probably better at coming down with the ball though.

Burks, right? Cameron will be a lot cheaper and he’s a MUCH better returner. One of the best returners in college football.

Cameron looks like a much better threat in the red zone as well.

He is that as well. He’s not great in short areas and isn’t the best route-runner, but get him the ball on the move and you’ve got a real weapon. Plus the return juice.

We’ve never replaced that gaping hole left when Demetrius Taylor was banned for gambling…

Have you watched any of Travis Burke the RT from Memphis? He really is a fun watch. He is not the best run blocker in space but have mercy on the one he does get his hands on. He will continue to drive that guy backwards until they fall down or they end up in the stands. Whistles don’t matter. The thing he does have is great knee bend for a man his size. He is 6’ 9’“ 325 with over 34” arms. He looks good against speed but can have trouble with power. I think this guy can develop with some good coaching. I would expect him to go early on day 3.

I just did recently, actually. For his height I was really impressed with his leverage. He’s an odd mix. I don’t think he has the greatest foot speed, and yet as you mentioned he handles speed rusher better than power rushers (the length certainly helps). He’s a little thin through his frame and doesn’t hold up as well against power, which is usually a no-no for guys who aren’t electric on the move, but his second-nature leverage is just really eye-opening to watch. And yeah, once he latches on look out.

Honestly I might rather take the value punt on him than Bell. I have the latter ranked a little higher (though lower than consensus, admittedly).

Kaleb Proctor, Halton or Landon Robinson… give us one, Brad.

Based off of Twitter it seems like 14 fan bases think they are signing Cade Mays.

He’s been a crush of mine since I saw him against LSU. I love that he’s performing so well through the process, though those all those 7th round mocks I did back in January seem like a pipe dream now.

I think Kaleb could really add something to our front that we just don’t get. Like instant wins. I have no confidence that our staff would be interested or use him properly if we did have him. He looks like a player the Vikings will get and terrorize us for years. Where is he projected to go?

I think all three of those guys can.
