Did @jman get the boot?
Fair enough. I disagree with the way you view Bradās approach, but to each his own.
You did. More than I did for sure. But I always said my biggest concern was him holding up outside, and at least in Philly, while heās been fine outside, heās been a difference maker in the slot. Which is where I wanted to play him all along. I think itās one of those where everyoneās right, but IF you drafted him strictly to play outside, you wouldnāt be getting as good of a player.
I get it. But if we had drafted him weād be sliding him inside next year in all likelihood. And honestly he probably would have slid back to safety for us last year. Or may have at least.
Right, and thatās how we should have used him and man would he look great on the roster now that Branch is hurt. Thatās why Iām generally all for taking talent over need, everything becomes a need sooner than you think.
But I also really liked Terrion, and we also needed outside help really badly, as you mentioned. All things being equal, THEN I default to the need. Itās not like Terrion was this inferior prospect we reached for. I feel like thatās what the narrativeās becoming due to results, but there was nothing wrong with the process. Process >>>>>> results.
I still think Terrion eventually is a multi time pro bowler.
I will admit, I do have a hard time with that. When Iām watching a game with my wife: I say āshould have been a Lionā. Especially with players who are now Eagles and Rams.
Again - thatās not the ānarrativeā (boy I dislike that word) Iām espousing.
Again - he was arguably not inferior. Only when you couple It with the TRADE-UP that cost us a second rounder.
Iāll take results every day of the week. The only process thing I love is āno turdsā.

Youāre not unique. We all do it.
I donāt.
Bet you do it with beer selections though.
But your argument is he went position over player⦠doesnāt this argue the exact opposite? Yes he was at a position we needed, but we all know Brad āfalls in loveā and the trade-ups are evidence of it. And again, we all knew ahead of time he would like Terrion, I donāt know why you think he would settle on an inferior player when the guy he chose was a guy everyone in here thought he would love.
I think your actual argument is āI liked DeJean better, and he should have too, and he could have gotten him for cheaper,ā and fair enough lol. But I think framing it as Brad reaches for positions instead of players just doesnāt hold up to scrutiny. You can pull up hundreds of other threads about him that accuse him of falling in love with players too much. Which one is it?
Quite the EDGE group
One guy I want to see, I forget if he is in the Shrine or Hula, but is Max Iheanachor from ASU. I thought I saw he accepted an invite to the Shrine but I donāt see him on the roster.
lol, oh there he is. Heās playing in the Senior bowl. Even better. And yeah, that is quite an EDGE group heāll face..
Iām a big Iheanachor fan, but a lot of that is cause I still think he has a really high ceiling, I mean he only started playing football at juco, before that he was a soccer player. That said he has a long way to go from a strength outlook, heās much more of a developmental guy. In fact until this year I would have said he just doesnāt have the core strength for it, but he showed some big improvements. Still a weakness overall. But going from awful to below average gives me some hope he can keep going up. And heās already got those sweet soccer feet, he gave David Bailey more trouble than anyone else this year.
What I expect to see from him is holding up really well against speed, but I suspect heāll have some really bad reps where guys go right through his chest. And then those reps will make the rounds and everyone will say he had a bad week. And it wonāt be true.
This is what I noticed first thing. His story is super cool.
this is true and done both ways.
I hated that beer why did i try it againā¦idiot
This is excellent but nowhere near that oneā¦
