El Niño already all time record. And its not even close to peaking

Top chart is the monthly forecast model. It keeps going up. The all time record (recorded) was 2015 1982 and 1997. But all those peaked at +3 degrees over average in late November. Its only September. And we already blew past that.

I’m expecting almost no snow this year and record highs on Christmas. Going to be a very, very warm winter here in Michigan.

Boo.

Its not going to be that much warmer. It will be less snow . I still think more low 40s then the low teens. I also cant trust weather at all.

The climate is messed up. Hopefully not totally ■■■■■■.

Can’t stand the cold.

Holland should either stock up on StemFest t-shirts or move the Tulip Festival to March.

Last 2 super El Ninos. It only got below freezing less than 4 nights in December with most days highs in the 50s.

I went golfing on Christmas eve in 2015

In 1998 we had less than 2 feet of snow all year (average is 5+) with a CRAZY ice storm in January of 1999. Where over a foot of that total snow fall fell in just over 24hrs.

Unless you live in Europe. If the AMOC is ■■■■■■, Europe will be frozen solid. And there’s an anomaly south of Greenland now that is not a good sign.

Good news for California is, last 2 super El Ninos saw nearly 2 years worth of rain in just 1 month. So that will help fill up Lake Meed.

I still think it will be a mild winter. It was mild last without low the temps.

After shoveling (ok snow blowing) lake effect snow for a few years here in western Michigan, I’d be ok with a green Christmas.

I wish but it didn’t last time. It did fill up most of California reservoirs. Didn’t help us a ton in az.

Yup. The early warm ups really screw with the timing of the tulip blooms. Screwed with it two years ago.
