Company I work for has a 6.5m sft factory and we currently solar power 30% of the factory with a goal of 70% by 2029. We mfr insulated and laminated glass in one portion of the factory, we have four divisions but the glass portion takes the most power and the powere required is massive. We will be adding 1m sft in two years for our float glass line.

This also applies to people who don’t really want to know how climate works. It’s a massively difficult scientific endeavor. Virtually impossible. It requires humility on all sides, but ultimately there is only one side: a habitable Earth.
I believe animals have as much right to exist on this planet as humans. More than that, I believe we are just one species of animal, one that has caused much harm and dislocation many other animals all the while taking the high ground and aren’t we ■■■■■■■ special. We are not. We are privileged to have a life to live here. And a responsiblity to care for the planet that has granted this privilege.
People unfortunately need to suffer before the have a spirtual awakening. I have little doubt it is coming.

I mean I outlined one example above where a company I work for made millions because they are a legitimate water powered plant. But got a federal airport project because their carbon footprint was lower than a mfr located 13hours from the project site. It’s absurd. And, it is openly discussed in my meetings with architects, some of the biggest firms in the world. GC’s, again massive international GC’s and subs.
Millions are made on the green energy. Millions, billions, are made in federal grants.
For one who has your background to claim you don’t understand what climate grift is, well, it’s hard to believe.
And ther is a ton of evidence to the contrary, a ton. Not hard to find at all especially with your journalistic background.
