He had less help on offense than Stafford did during his time in Detroit. He had some turd burger seasons too… If Joe Namath is a HOF’er, so is Eli
those 2 super bowls were more about the Giants defense not steller QB play
This is gonna sound off. But manning is meh and the giants are the most meh 2 super bowl team ever. It would be like if the lions won the super bowl in 11, 14 or 16 and then went right back to sucking…dude threw 25 plus ints twice in his career (20 3 times) and both times happened in the after 8 years in the league. Just a funky HOF’r.
Eli Manning beating Tom Brady 2x in the super bowl will never not be one of the craziest WTF moments in sports.
Yep gotta give him credit for the playoff success. But 244 interceptions in 236 career starts is not good at all.
I’m not really for or against him. This was his year to go in due to a fairly weak class. I can’t see him going in next year with Brees.
Terry Bradshaw is in there though with 212 TD/210 INT and a 51.9% completion percentage. As someone already mentioned Joe Namath is in there with 173 TDs/223 INTs. Eli has put up hall of fame
Numbers. He just doesn’t stack well against the most prolific passers of his time, or today.
Maybe but there’s only a handful of players with 2 SB mvps and he’s one of them.
