Fantasy Football Draft Thread 2025

So along with Gibbs, Saquon, Bijan, Chase, Jefferson, Lamb, Henry, CMC, that’s the top 17? Surely it won’t go 17 for 17, I’ve never been to a live draft that has perfectly followed the draft board.

For the record. I like Kyren Williams there. Along with Bucky & Chase.

Can always get a JSN/MHjr next round at WR

I like Kyren better than London, BTJ, Taylor, Chase Brown, Bucky, and Bowers because of position. I’d like to get two consistent RBs in the first two rounds.

Fair enough, I’ve got him behind all of those guys except maybe Bucky, but it’s all very close. I’d have him higher in standard but in .5 PPR I’m shading the other guys.

But that’s only IF Stafford’s healthy. That back would make me very nervous. Even if he plays, one hit and it could all go to shit.

I’m going to die on the Kyren is overrated hill. Though that’s a reality take not a fantasy one. I do think from a fantasy perspective there is a chance that Sean nudges towards a committee approach. Not necessarily a full committee but lighten Williams’ load a good bit.

I think if you walk out of the first 4 rounds with either 2 wr & 1 rb or 2 rb & 1 rb at minimum you are on the right track. I prefer 2 & 2 when the draft falls that way, but sometimes elite QB or TE falls to where you cannot pass on the value.

I get the value of Kyler, but I just can’t go there myself. I like Dak as Burrow-lite. I like Patriots QB in an underrated offense. There have been times I have taken both to play the matchup game because I see value in that.

There have been times I’ve taken Kylee and Stroud to do the same thing. I think Stroud is going to have a bounce back year, and he’s really underrated for where his ADP is.

I agree that he is a big value vs ADP. I absolutely see the bounce back. With their current running game, they are going to have to pass.

This is the team I got in the mock draft I did last night with Yahoo’s updated rankings. I’d be doing cartwheels if this happened. Keep in mind, our league has two flex spots and Yahoo standard now has one, so I drafted as if I was trying to fill two flex spots.

Your Team

  1. Derrick Henry (Bal - RB)
  2. Ashton Jeanty (LV - RB)
  3. Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Sea - WR)
  4. Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ari - WR)
  5. Sam LaPorta (Det - TE)
  6. Aaron Jones Sr. (Min - RB)
  7. Travis Hunter (Jax - WR)
  8. Kyler Murray (Ari - QB)
  9. Jayden Reed (GB - WR)
  10. Brandon Aubrey (Dal - K)
  11. Kyle Pitts Sr. (Atl - TE)
  12. Darnell Mooney (Atl - WR)
  13. Denver (Den - DEF)
  14. Keenan Allen (LAC - WR)
  15. Jaydon Blue (Dal - RB)

Why is everyone still so high on Johnathan Taylor? He’s going to maybe have Daniel Jones as his QB, and hasn’t been at his best since 2021. He had a good season last year, but I feel like he’s going to fall off the top level any day now with all the tread on his tires over the years. What do you guys think?

Where did
Taylor, Kyren, Chase Brown, Bucky go

2.02, 2.11, 2.05, and 2.08 respectively.

I took Jeanty at 2.06.

I highly doubt he’s there when I actually draft in a couple of weeks, but I’d run to the podium if he is.

It’s all gonna come down to whether they fixed their OL or not. He’s clearly a talented guy. I have hope and have taken plenty of shares of Stroud, but I remain concerned enough that I probably won’t take him in my main league. The main thing I’m considering is whether to take Nico or not for the same reasons. He wasn’t great down the stretch last year because Stroud was getting killed.

As you should, imo

He’s been the #1 overall fantasy player before, not a lot of guys with that sort of ceiling. And that was with Wentz, I think? So he’s already thrived with bad QB play. He was also the #1 RB in fantasy over the last 4 games last year, and won a lot of people championships, went bonkers in week 17. He’s younger and has fewer carries than Saquon had going into last year, so I think there’s still plenty of tread on the tires.

I don’t end up with a lot of him because I have him behind Jacobs, Chase Brown and Bucky (but ahead of Kyren lol). I mostly play non-PPR so that affects the rankings, it pushes Jacobs, Taylor and Kyren up the board.

Bell Cow. As long as the guy is healthy, he gets 20+ touches a game. As far as I can tell, best behind him is Herbert, so no share there.

I’ve got a really good feelign about the rookie RBs this year
Specifically

Jeanty
Judkins
Harvey

Caleb should be a solid consistent RB too.

Henderson goes to high for me to ever draft him but he’s lightning.

I love Jeanty and like Harvey a lot. Judkins is worrisome since he hasn’t signed yet, I don’t know that he’ll be doing much until well into the season. He also still might be punished by the league even if the law let him off.

Henderson’s stock has gotten out of control, but it makes Rhamondre a bargain imo. McDaniels has never not had a plodder scoring a lot of TDs. Blount, Ridley, Damien Harris. Henderson will be viable but he’s gotten way too expensive.

I also have quite a bit of Tuten, JCM, Monangai, Tahj Brooks, and while I don’t love him, Jaydon Blue. And a shitload of Hampton, though he’s gotten pretty expensive too of late.

Yah I’m not into the dart throws until the last round. … Even tho I struck gold with Bucky who saved my season. Him and scooping Hunt the week before he got back w KC.

My team was loaded but my early RBs were trash those guys saved me.

I really believe in Jeantty, Harvey, and Judkins as a 2nd half season dude.

I think Jeanty is an all season dude. He’s gonna be the workhorse from the get-go. Harvey might take a little longer, though if it’s a PPR league he should catch a ton of passes. Payton targeted Kamara and Reggie Bush like crazy when they were rookies.

Judkins is just too up in the air for me to take at his cost. Plus, I just don’t want to have anything to do with the Browns. I hate watching them.
