Thanks.
Then it’s not really an OC issue it’s an OL issue and a timing issue that, hopefully, can be improved with more reps.
Thanks.

It is a little bit scary that we’re in a bit of a race against time to get that IOL whipped into shape before we dig ourselves a massive hole. Get to 2-2 going to Cincinatti and we’re in fine shape IMO.
We’re going to need to beat the Browns and Bears then or have a miracle against Baltimore.
It’s doable but won’t be easy.
I figured with the way the thread already was, and having a good idea of where it was going to go… I was going to try and put it delicately.
Thanks for clarifying the epidural thing; I didn’t watch until the 2nd quarter.
However even with that distinction, I think this one will be a game the team and it’s fans looks back on with regret later on in the year. Epidural or not, Parsons was vulnerable.
Jared Goff is the worst QB under pressure in the league, there are stats year after year that backs this up.
We lost our god tier o line, rags was taken for granted

Jared Goff was among the NFL’s top quarterbacks when facing pressure in the 2024 season, ranking highly in efficiency metrics like passing success rate (fifth), yards per attempt (top-10), and a completion percentage leader.
Wait until they play Baltimore week 3 ![]()

There is also an obvious statistical quirk bc of Goff’s lack of mobility. Goff will throw the ball away versus trouble as opposed to a mobile QB that might scramble for some yards. That is inherently going to be a headwind for most if not all efficiency metrics versus pressure.
So you think an NFL QB and his players are going to take over the OC–while coached by Dan Campbell? That strikes you as even a remote possibility?
Wow… That’s a stretch from what I said lol what I SAID was, the vets would say something… Not take over… Jeez
Again, let’s say three times per game turfs it or throws it out of bounds where a mobile QB scrambles for five or six. That is going to have a definitive impact on the measurement that you are highlighting. People have weaponized metrics like these to imply that he’s melting down like he’s Zach Wilson. He’s not. He simply lacks an arrow in his quiver that most of those QBs have.

I think we’re 0-3 going into the Browns game
You do realize that the graphic you posted….
which can’t even be interpreted by known data….
has 10 QBs… including Justin Herbert….
with lower “ratings” than Goff in 2023….
right??? ![]()

If we can’t beat the Bears at home…. That would be pretty disappointing. Sure hope you are wrong.

IIRC we haven’t my lost back to back games since we took flight in 2022.
streaks are of course meant to be broken ![]()
We are a timing offense. We don’t play anyone in the preseason. We are always a slow starting offense. We obviously have to work through our IOL transition. Everyone needs to chillax.
Then Dan needs to rethink his preseason approach.
Just giving away the game to a division rival or hoping the offense will have it’s timing somehow isn’t a good approach.
The risk of injury does not outweigh trying to win a divisional game IMHO
We can go back further with stats on Goff under pressure if you want, we had an extremely good o line for years and your starting to see that fall apart is all

I hope I’m wrong too, but I believe Ben is very smart and a exceptional play caller, he knows Dan and he knows tendencies. I think he will set Dan up and Morton will be no help. Ben knows this team is vulnerable he going to be ready.
