I see Stroud as similar to Goff in a lot of ways. He’ll look good on a good team and he’ll look quite bad on a bad team. He needs the kind of o-line that the Lions have. That said, I think he locked up QB2 with that Georgia performance.

Oh how I hate Ohio State.
You watch way more of him than I do, but, you must be too close to the fumes.
I would take Stroud even if Young was there. He reminds me of Goff with more mobility and he stretches the field a bit more but that could be because they just had better receivers than we did the last 2 years. For a sleeper pick or even UDFA Tim DeMorat from Fordham.

I would say the trend is toward mobile QBs. Rodgers, Mahomes, Burrow, Wilson, Watson before rub tug gate, Allen, Lawrence, maybe Fields, Murray, Hurts, Jackson, Prescott…I’m sure I’m forgetting a few…I wouldn’t call them all running QBs, but none of them are statutes
