Cardinals will play this card to get Colts to swap 1 spot with them. They get Will Anderson @4 or next best Edge/Carter if somehow Will Anderson goes #2…
Would love for that to happen as the Colts are almost forced into taking a QB at 4, even if the rest go top3. Would mean one of Anderson/Carter is available.
If those team are indeed interested in moving up to 3, I’d have to imagine there may be interest in moving to 6 if the cost at three gets too high.
The Titans are the sweet spot to trade down to, IMO. Get their 2nd this year and maybe a 4th next year to replace ours.
At 11 we would have w ton of options I’d be much more comfortable taking with the extra pick. JSN, Bijan, Skoronski, Nolan Smith, Witherspoon/Gonzalez.
I would be fine with any of those picks.
I think the worst possible scenario is that 4QB’s and Anderson go before we pick. No one is trading up for Carter, and I’d be surprised if we picked him.
You made a good point here !
4 QBs going before our pick is literally the dream scenario for a many of the people here.
3 QBs, Anderson , and Carter is the nightmare lol
You know Seattle is gonna F us
If they miss out on 3 and there is still a QB at 6 they want I’d trade the 6th pick and the 18th pick for Simmons and the 11th pick and #41.
I can see the Titans drafting Bijan before trading up for Will Tannyhill Levis (onwazurike)
Again all signs point to Nolan Smith at 6 as Holmes guy. Just remember where you heard it first !
I want Anderson off the board. So that is still a good scenario for me.
I’m sure Arizona would love to trade that pick. Richardson and Levis are a tough sell though. Are you really going to trade up to 3 for one of these guys? Better you than me.
I will just say if by chance Bryce should fall to 3, I’d be one of the teams calling Arizona. You’re only falling to 6 and I’ll offer a pretty good package for it.
There have been quite a few of us on that bandwagon for awhile now.
If the top 5 players are
Cj Stroud
Bryce Young
Will Anderson
Anthony Richardson
Jalen Carter
I think we either trade down or go Nolan Smith.
There have been quite a few of us on that bandwagon for awhile now.
Mentioning him as a possibility along with the other 99 prospects doesn’t count.
It’s crazy right?
Stroud
W Anderson
N Smith
C Gonzalez
B Jones
B Robinson
JSN
That’s my very short list of guys that look, measure, and move like elite nfl talents.
I can get behind Young’s tape, Skoronskis tape, Wilson tape….
I’m still searching for what J Carter did at some point to get his GENERATIONAL TALENT rep….
Then at #18 guys like Van Ness, Branch, Witherspoon, Bijan, Banks, Sanders, Campbell, Flowers all have some things I like a lot about their games.
Will Anderson is the only player in the draft I’d give up a mid 2nd for….
So if he’s not there, and he won’t be…. Then I would drop to #11 to add a 2nd over anyone else.
#11 and #42- wouldnt everyone take B Jones and Jack Campbell over T Wilson?
Watch Jalen Carter vs LSU in the SEC championship. By far the best game I ever saw him play. Just think if he was in shape. He could’ve had class. He could’ve been a contender. He could’ve been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what he is.
Jack Campbell
Jack Campbell, Darius Rush, and Tucker Kraft are the only reasons why I’m not completely on board 100% with getting back into round 1 with our Day 2 picks to get 3 1st round picks.
Mentioning him as a possibility along with the other 99 prospects doesn’t count.
I am far from the draft expert around these parts so I will defer this question to others. Nolan Smith has been brought up on this board a lot more since the combine. He even was our pick at 18 in our den mock draft. I personally love this kid as a prospect and think he is very undervalued in the eyes of the media/fans and will be drafted higher than most expect. So my question is, assuming the top 5 goes like this Carolina - CJ Stroud Texans - Bryce Young Cardinals - Will Anderson Colts -…
Is Nolan Smith a possiblity at 6? Let me start this conversation by saying I am not advocating for this, yet. I would be very surprised if he made it to 18. I understand his production isn’t the greatest, but there are a lot of reasons for that. He has a fantastic work ethic, is extremely likable/good teammate, has truly elite physical gifts, and is a perfect culture fit. I also think he has the potential to be the best defender from this draft class.
I am not advocating for him at 6 because of how deep we are at edge right now. The thing with Smith is, he isn’t strictly an edge. He is an absolute force against the run and also has le
Exactly my point… you actually word for word say you wouldn’t take him at 6. Bandwagons getting full man.
Pick a side! Make a stance! getting out of the safe zone in the middle wishy washy
I think the worst possible scenario is that 4QB’s and Anderson go before we pick. No one is trading up for Carter, and I’d be surprised if we picked him.
I gotta tell you. That sound an aweful lot like a best case scenario, to me.

This was 10 days ago. Since then I have stated several times that if the top 5 go the way most expect, I think Smith is the pick if we can’t trade down.
