Lmao. They were on the floor together the entire season and The Pistons finished 10th in the league in points. Nowhere near “The worst offense in the league”.
You make shit up so often that I can’t believe anybody takes you seriously.

Meaningless regular season game vs G League level players.
Go look at them on the court together vs teams with their full lineup or in the playoffs. Worst in NBA by a wide margin.
If they are up by 15+ sure. Bring on the defense.
But starting 5. Gotta pick 1. Unless some how they average 30 combined per game next season
Every Friday when there is a full moon they average double the most points in the league.
Go look it up.
Thompson needs to get a jump shot. JD needs to be the regular season JD, and not the playoffs JD
Per CBS sports.
Duren and Thompson together on the court
88 points per 100 plays. The worst metric in NBA History
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/whats-next-pistons-cade-cunningham-jalen-duren/
That is true
On the rare occasion that Thompson does shoot a 3 his form looks perfect. It leads me to believe that he has it in him to be a good shooter. He just lacks the confidence to try.
Either way I’m not moving one of the best young defenders in the league out of my starting 5.
Thats my own opinion though.
I hear ya. But when those 2 are on the court together,
The opposing defense just,
Big in the paint guarding Duren, cheating to Thompson.
Double team cade.
1v 1 the other 2.
Duren regular season is meaningless.
Because what? Maybe 12 games this year the pistons played a good team with its full lineup.
Players have openly stated the regular season os pointless and star players play just enough to get i to the playoffs and to get their bonuses for all star.
Him and his brother both cant shoot the ball. If they haven’t by now I doubt they ever will. And I like Thompson.
Thompson 3% has gone up slightly.
0.186 to 0.224 to 0.250
But thats because hes taking WAY less
Per 36m
2.6 to 1.3 to just 0.5 this year
They averaged 29.4 last season.
Now I will say you’re on the right path of thinking that they need to average close to that if not that in the playoffs, regardless of who they add to the mix. This means that Cade’s scoring goes down because there isn’t so much damn hero ball, which is fine with me
They are 22 yrs old. Won’t improve? I wouldn’t bet on that.
Massive improvement? Probably wouldn’t bet on that either.

Ok, which Power Ranger is each of the Piston starting 5?
A 3 should be able to hit jumpers at 22 years old
Again stop with the regular season bs stats. They are pointless when the biggest players are openly stating they dont care about regular season. They purposely take multiple games off to rest and dont try hard. Just stay healthy going into the playoffs.
Just because the pistons try hard and play all season doesnt mean the rest of the league does.
Dis was literally you though. You meam playoffs?
Ok? Dis was literally me in response to literally you.
“Now I will say you’re on the right path of thinking that they need to average close to that if not that in the playoffs, regardless of who they add to the mix”
So….

Freep mock draft
mara goes at 10 to Milwaukee
Yax to to Golden State at 11
Morez to Miami Heat
Not a great write up on this projected Piston’s pick:
Vitals: Freshman, 6-8, Santa Clara.
2025-26 stats: 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists ,0.9 blocks, 0.9 steals, 51.2% shooting, 41.3% from 3.
Among the Pistons’ needs to address this offseason – a rotation power forward who eventually can take over from Tobias Harris, reliable 3-point shooting and a capable ball-handler who can take pressure off Cade Cunningham. In Graves, they may be able to check all three boxes, on some level.
Graves’ analytics elevate him to a potential first-round target. He was highly productive in just 22.6 minutes per game, scoring efficiently both inside and from the arc with quick and accurate passing reads (just 0.7 turnovers per game), healthy block and steal numbers and a knack for rebounding.
The rest of his profile reveals red flags, however. He came off of the bench for a No. 10-seed Santa Clara team that snapped a 30-year tournament drought. His NBA competition will be significantly better than the West Coast Conference. And Graves isn’t a great athlete, which he makes up for with smarts and positioning. His viability at No. 21 largely comes down to the Pistons’ belief in his outside shooting and connective qualities on offense, as well as his ability to hold up on the defensive end.

I’m taking this with a grain of salt.
