The ■■■■ is Ausar going to do on offense unless he develops a jumpshot?
What do we need to “open up” for him?
He’s athletic enough to do what Holland does which is go to the basket from a spot up point. If you can become a very good finisher or foul sink, it’s helpful to the team especially because maybe they put their good offense bad defense wing on him and you get that cat in foul trouble that way.
This is assuming they add a true number two score at the two and maybe upgrade Harris. Or do it the other way around get a true number two at the four and add Ayo

Since we cant get a bigman who can shoot a 3 we will probably go Tarris Reed Jr so when cade drives to the paint there is 5 defenders looking to gangbang him

I honestly think it will the same team outside of who they pick at 21. I also think they move up if the right person is there. So excuse me for having a different opinion then you do. Ive seen this with Detroit teams before. JD is going to cost and same thing as Thompson. So where are they going to find a 2nd scorer for Cade?
I can see like a Cody white type of player. Just dont think they can afford another super star. With Thompson and JD contact coming up

Now this I agree with. There is only one cornerstone of this team. Everyone else is dudes we like. If you can trade Ausar and Duren for another cornerstone like Cade, you do it. That simple. And Ausar is my favorite Piston by far.

Tyler Herro and Coby White would be a fine offseason. That would be doing everything they need to, just maybe not the players I’d want.
Although it looks like Minnesota is really going to try to keep Ayo. It’s a shame we couldn’t have gotten his bird rights at the deadline last season!!!
For those of you that don’t know anything about Tyler Herro, he’s like if Duncan Robinson was actually good enough to be a second option. Still terrible on defense but this team will have a good defense overall.
