what are you guys ‘searching’ to find that topic. I would like to see it too.
And people wonder why so many of us have blind faith in Holmes.
Thank you, brother! Fun read! Maaaaan do I love having Brad Holmes. I feel like Dan, Brad, and the boys are teaching the entire nation a massive lesson in faith, determination, love, relentlessness, commitment, and more.
SO grateful to see the shift in so many of our guys…players, fans in the Den, other teams, etc. EVERYTHING in Detroit has shifted.
I can’t believe you went there….Millenesque?? Come on sock….
I guess here is what it comes down to. If Brad freaks out or breaks the table, then he has just willed a pro bowler into existence.
Thanks for the link.
One thing I forgot until reading it was the yards left on the field comments that Dan and Ben made when it came to the RB’s. That isn’t a Gibbs issue.
I think the biggest surprise for me is how well he runs between the tackles, that was an unknown for me.
Not sure if it was already reposted but a reminder on Gibbs background.
I’m a positional value guy. I’m glad Brad Holmes isn’t.
My issue was never with the player but with positional value and the likelihood of that player being here beyond the first contract. Whether that be for financial or health related reasons. Both of which is always dicey with running backs.
Well I was one, didn’t like the pic especially were we took him , I thought we could get the same guy later, even called him a 3rd down back. Boy was I wrong.
Yep. That is the same with me. I think if you take a RB in the first round, they HAVE to be generational. Brad Holmes was right. I think Gibbs has all the talent, health willing, to be a generational back.
lol funny to look at my reaction, wow I was right on the mark. Said no one ever!
Exactly. They can’t be Melvin Gordon, Leonard Fournette, Ryan Mathews, Najee Harris, Etienne, CJ Spiller, Knownshon Moreno, etc… They have to turn out as superstars. The margin for error is razor thin.
And EVEN then, if your roster’s not ready for them, it’s still a pointless pick. I think we all know Saquon and McCaffrey are studs, but what benefit did the Giants or Panthers get from drafting them?
Brian Calhoun!
The comments are certainly entertaining.
@Davicus this is the part we should have looked at. This knowledge. The celebration when he was picked. And then realized that Brad EXPECTED this to be a generational player.
I didn’t love trading down from Jalen Carter. Once that happened, I was fairly apathetic.
All this does is make me feel that when Brad doesn’t take positional value, then he just feels that much better about the prospect.
I’m not going to lie, I was one of them.
Now, I just stfu and say “whatever Holmes thinks is best”.
This applies to QB too
Credit to you Mouse for admitting that. You just had a bad day is all
