Give this guy a tryout

I’d give him a chance-if I was Brad, not for a big contract, not even a million on a 1-year deal to try him out, even if we stashed him as CB #5. or however we can stash him away. let him play in Preseason. and maybe in one game if he does well enough to earn it.

We need a meme with this young man in a lions uniform and the title of this movie on it

I say: good for him.

And also: if you’re the Lions, or any team, that’s just not a precedent you want to set. It’s not only about the prospect of having 200 guys hanging out at the facility; it’s about basically inviting guys with dreams – and w/some loonies mixed in – to compete for out-of-the-box ways to get the Lions’ attention.

Kudos to the first one or three guys to do something innocuous but relatively creative. Be wary of the next 500 if you open that door.

Give him a shot. Open tryouts used to be a thing.

Don’t they still have an open tryout day, after the draft sometime? I could be wrong but I thought they still did this.

Yup. That’s basically what I said in the first thread.

This reminds me a bit of the first high school kids to ask a celebrity to the prom. It was quirky and novel and newsworthy.

Now, I’m sure every famous person gets tens of thousands every year.
