That’s my set up. Everything is in there, including 100 watts and a 12" Katana matched speaker.
Play one, and you’ll buy it.

I’m thinking I need one.

Under $700! Or, you could get the 335, LP, and Strat models for less than one American Ultra Strat, or way less than one Les Paul Standard.
Just when I thought I was really done buying guitars! (As if)

Styx, Bad Company, and Foreigner, are NOT in the Hall of Fame.
How can they possibly justify that?
And Styx, 4 platinum albums in a row. They’re the only band to ever do it! Plus, a Gallup poll in 1980 voted Styx the most popular American band. Their credentials more than qualify them.

But, it’s Styx.

They put out one #1 hit that was commercial and everybody lost their minds.
That doesn’t erase an entire body of work. 40 some years later, people are paying good money to see either DeYoung or Young and Shaw.
Who else?
Stuff like this?

I do confess, I liked up to “The Grand Illusion”. Then they turned to shit.

My two favorite Styx songs are Lady and Lorelei.

Dennis DeYoung had a huge ego, but he could sing like nobody’s BizzNiss.

Liked them better when they were much more prog.

That’s what I’m talking about. They made some kick ass music before Killroy, and even Killroy had some great music between the arena fluff.

Daddy is here to give you kids a gee-tar lesson. Listen and weep kids.
This is one guy making all of this beautiful music on one guitar, at one time. No over dubs or anything.

A peek into my past…

Saw Leo with Jesse Colin Young back in '75 @ Pine Knob. I got laid that night…

Was that in 3rd grade?

Close, my senior year. But attended a big city public school, so it’s equivalent to a third grade education.

I saw REO Speedwagon at Newberry HS (U.P.) in 75.
I was 15. I didn’t get laid.
