It’s the time of year when the hunger for horror grows. I’m looking for some scary media to quell this rumble in my belly. What better place to find it than here in the football Lions Den.
I’ll start with the story of Sawney Bean. Inspiration for the movie “ The Hills have eyes”, this is truly a horror story for the ages. Enjoy and thanks for any/all suggestions in advance.
I should write a movie about my last woman…now THAT would be a horror movie that would make ppl cringe!

The fall of the house of usher on netflix is really good. Taken from the most popular stories of edgar allen poe.
Hereditary is a good very uncomfortable horror movie.
The Thing (1982) is fantastic. Easily one of my favorite horror films.
Book wise I love the unabridged version of The Stand.
Lovecraftian modern movies, Annihilation is great, using the colour out of space as inspiration.

The Shining is the best ever. Other good ones: Psycho, Alien, the TV series Hannibal.

The scariest story ever told to me was by a ouija board, on acid. Don’t. I mean it.

Have you seen the 2011 prequel? I really liked that.

Read it 4 times. My favorite fiction of all time. The original mini series was good. The remake was not so good.

I actually like both versions of the mini series. The original was better of course.
I’m with you and sheep though, the book is one of my all time favorites. I’ve probably read it a half dozen times.
