How do we stop Jayden Daniels?

Mobile QBs have been our bugaboo …

Any ideas?

Score more. Control the ball.
Or hit em real hard once and watch him sink.

I think Melifonwu plays a big role.

First rookie QB to win playoff game on road

Since Joe Flacco

He won 2 that year …

Gotta pressure him and contain his runs.

Don’t let it come down to late 4th qtr

How do they stop Goff, Gibbs, Monty probably, LaPorta, St. Brown, Jamo, Patrick, Skipper probably etc.?

I mean, I completely agree, but … that isn’t the question. I obviously think we have the advantage. But we’ve struggled with mobile QBs.

Bite his kneecaps.

Yeah I don’t care

As far as I’m concerned, this is the Lions best case scenario after GB lost, if they struggle and lose to this rook, then it never was meant to be

Playoff blowouts are fun. My last time experiencing one I was 11 years old IIRC.

Have Brian Branch spy him for the 1st drive. He will be a pocket passer for the rest of the game.

I was actually hoping Washington won. The winner of Rams/Viking is a tougher match up. That said, the rookie Daniels IS special. However, living in DC I have pretty much watched most of their games, and there is at least three they never should have won.
The playoffs are tough, all of the best teams are in, but I truly believe the Lions should beat the Commanders. Daniels is a problem, but the rest of their run game is NOT. Our D should be able to handle this well enough, and the Lions offense is a monster.
Let the monster roar!

We better get good at it if we want to win anything. In order to get a ring you gotta go through guys like Lamar, Josh Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, etc. Now Daniels too. It’s part of the modern day nfl.

Had the same thought. If they can’t beat this Washington team, it would mean the injuries were ultimately too much to overcome.

If Lions lose to Washington super bowl was never realistic. Luckily lions won’t lose.

I was gonna say Kerby spears him in the knee… But biting works too

No doubt that Daniels is going to be a problem and he’ll certainly get his but the key is to do what the Bucs largely did tonight and stiffen up in the red zone. If they score 23 next week, they likely lose by double digits.

Also, the Ford Field crowd needs to be taken into account. Daniels has never seen anything like what he’ll see next weekend, that will be a factor.

Playing a mobile qb next week and to a lesser extent the following week (possibly) may be a blessing. Whomever comes out of the AFC is going to be levels better than Daniels/Hurts, so it’ll be good to get some preparation.

Crowd noise will cause several false starts.

I’m not going to go nuts with the predictions and kool-aid, but end of the day, he’s a rookie.

He’s a rookie. Period. That’s all the Lions need to remember. He’s a rookie. An impressive rookie, but you can’t spell the last sentence without the word “rookie”.

Bo Nix was a lower level of impressive, annnd he got shut down today.

Same gonna happen to Daniels. Their Oline isnt enough to deal with Glenn’s aggression, and their D isnt stopping us at all.
