My old boss bought this massive RV and built this massive garage to store it. He has a normal subdivision house so the garage is very noticeable. He has spent so much money on that thing. He does use it. Every vacation they take is an RV vacation. Florida beach. RV park. Trip to Colorado. RV. Trip to Nova Scotia. RV. He’s a very different kind of guy than I am.

I’ve lost friends over their serial camping. Though I prefer to call it bogarting.

I would never go camping. I’m afraid that bigfoot would get me.

Uh, Wolf, we need to have a little talk about your “friend”.

I have been known to pitch a tent. Most mornings, in fact. But the bathroom has a flush toilet.

Also, I live in Costa Rica. If you think I’m sleeping on the ground here, you’re nuts. I have experienced one full-on army ant invasion in a cabin. And I’m not about to stumble outside in the wee hours to pee only to be wrestling with a snake that is not my own.

Calias should go into the tent business just for the comic relief tailwinds for their brand.

My Dad loved taking us to Cedar River campground for weekend camping

I remember the Pinery over the border in Canada being nice. That was so long ago seems like another life though.

Originally our family had a popup camper behind a Crown Vic. Went everywhere. Tahquamenon Falls.
Ludington, rifle River, tawas, the dunes. Hocking hills. Then when that got old and tents got better we got a big 10 person tent.

We also always went on a all day canoe trip. Like 8-10 hours

Now i take my wife and 3 kids and do the same.

I camp a fair amount. I do a bunch of tent camping with truck for fishing and such.

I also do a fair amount of living out of a backpack . I’m in mountains for 10 days a year hunting and do several hiking trips in MI throughout spring-fall.
