The girls and hubbs+grandkiddos camp. Tents with blow up beds at first, then 3 room tents with auto setup beds and a huge covered canopy dining area. Now it’s a couple big ass tow behind RVs that are actually pretty nice.

MahSweetie and I get a hotel nearby and drive over.

I like all sorts of camping. Cabins, campers, back of a truck, tents…don’t care.

Last year we went camping with our horses for the first time. A place called Hermit Park, about 10-15 minutes east of Estes Park. They have camping spots with horse pens available.

I’ve met people out here that have done some amazing stuff with their trailers like yours. Solar panels, awnings on the side, propane hot water systems (one had a framework and base for a shower he would set up with the side door of the trailer). A lot of them just want their stuff organized and ready to roll if they just need to get out of the house.

It’s a great idea. Enjoy!

We did some ā€œglampingā€ in the Osa, no windows in the cabin, but had a net over the bed. We’re about 500 ft above the ocean, so the breeze kept the bugs in the rainforest and the cabin cool at night.

We make a dirt biking/atv trip north every year (north of traverse city) in the spring. Dads and their boys, though in the last few years a few of the nieces have started to take part. Next weekend we’ll be up at the base of the Keewenau riding some trails west of Marquette all the way to Ontonogan.

That reminds me of one I saw for sale a year or two ago, it had all that stuff on it. It had led’s strung around the top inside and out, a small fridge, air conditioning, pretty much you name it and it had it. Maybe its cheaper to convert an enclosed trailer instead of buying a camper?!?!? :man_shrugging:

flushable moist wipes will change your life. SO much safer than rolling the dice with TP

Forgot about this one I encountered on the beach a while back. Looks like a military vehicle painted purple and converted to a living space. That will set you back a few bucks.
