How many of you have fished over a 35 year time line?

I have fished since I could walk, I’m an addict and I can spend hours in a bait and tackle store -“maybe not buying anything”, but looking at/for new shit and back through the older stuff, pricing things, may walk out-without a thing, but may grab some “treasures” to. and yes I buy fishing goods from Wal-Mart once in a while .

I love to fish but never have time. I do know a guy who has been fishing for about 75 years. You might have seen him around.

Love to fish. Haven’t been able to as much the last few years. Had to sell my bass boat but will definitely be getting another one in the future.

Love to fish. Only make it out a couple times a year. Mostly with my stepdad and my kids. GREAT memories in Grandpa’s little boat. My oldest is 32 this year and we have been going since he was 2 or 3.

Pops is getting older now. Very hard for him to get out. But I will never forget those memories!

I my earliest memory is fishing with my dad and grandpa on Hubbard Lake in 64’.

I have a Sportsman’s License in my wallet and use it as often as I can.

Going shrooming and fishing tomorrow and Thursday. I didn’t do opening day. I leave that to the trolls, and, let things calm down a bit.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I lived along the shore of Lake Erie and have been fishing for well over 50 years. I also use my kayak to fish some of the local inland lakes. The summer time walleye fishing on Lake Erie has just been ridiculous for the last several years. Just from the boat launch near me they bring in over 500 a day when the weather permits.

I haven’t been out yet, here in Michigan-The weather has been odd, I’ve been sick, but I am going as soon as I can, because that’s my love in life…seem’s the wind is gusting to so got to pick and choose a day.

My grandfather would take me every weekend during summer vacation out fishing in the late 70s/early 80s. Sadly, I was too nerdy at that point and didn’t appreciate it. Still have a pic of me with my first big fish I caught (dogfish) and I looked disgusted at trying to touch it

But I did learn how to clean/gut fish etc.

Get a time machine and I sure would’ve appreciated it a lot more.

I loved fishing as a kid with my father when we actually caught fish. But nowadays it seems like humans have just over fished the rivers and lakes at least up north. I’m sure it’s different based on location

I never cared for fishing. I used to pretend I liked it for my grandpa. But I was pretty bored. Loved when he took my water skiing though.

Fished when I was a kid. It’s probably been 40+ years since the last time I went fishing.

I fish everyday in the summer. I live on a river and the fishing is fantastic.

where at? I fish the Flint river and creeks, rivers, and dams off of it, save for rare times up North, but I also fish inland lakes to. I live just East of Birch Run, Michigan.

In my heyday they used to call me Bass Masterson. That and some others things not fit to print.
