Jay Glazer reported it this morning on Fox Sports.
At this rate he will be back for the vikings
Doubt it. He’d not be his same self anyways.
But maybe He’d be more of a motivational lift for the team and fans.
This has been my prediction all along.
Not surprised.
May only be for a few plays but even that helps.
My only issue is any chance of re-injury. If the time between late January and April means “complete and full recovery”, then he should be held back from returning.
The nature of his injury was one of the reasons I thought he’d make it back. Broken bones either heal or they don’t. If he’s given the all clear, it’s healed. I don’t think the chance of reinjury is very high. That’s just from what I’ve read though.
Hutch isn’t that kind of guy. If he’s out there hes playing the full snaps.
Even if he only plays a handful of snaps he still has the football IQ to impact the game. Even at 70-80%. One sack or hurried throw at the right time…….
Even if they run him out there on only 3rd downs, it’d be impactful
Smith and Hutch omg
I look at a bone break different than a muscle tear etc.
If the doctor says he’s healed, then he’s healed.
I said it a month ago, and I will say it again, if anyone has the tenacity, will and grit to return earlier than expected, this is your man!

Most of you see this picture of Hutch walking in water.
I see this as Hutch preparing himself to be ready for the playoffs. That is with a plural.
If ever there was a young man that is able to will himself to beat all odds, I’d put my money on Hutch. Some of the physical accomplishments he had at MI will never be surpassed. This guy wills himself to go where No One else has gone before.
Hutch is not the most physically gifted, fastest or most talented edge to come out of the NCAA. He is the most determined to be the best. A perfect Dan/Brad Lion.
If this were the case I’d hold him til the Super Bowl those extra 2 weeks would be huge.
He can dress and if we need him 2nd half to close out the game ok.
10 snaps tops
Reader won’t be coming back at 100%, he will have full power from the shoulders down, but he will be limited if he has to raise his arms up over his head and not at full power doing that.
Hutch , he is a man animal, NOBODY seen him rehabbing as well and as quick as he has and he continues to work hard-I wouldn’t be super surprised to see him cleared to play, earlier than expected…and IF he is, he will be a help defensively.
Again, if he’s active I don’t think he’ll be limited. At least not from the injury. Could be in bad football shape though.
This would be HUGE.
Imagine this D getting some key guys back from week 18 through the playoffs. WILD.
Cant imagine they would trot Hutch out if it was a risk. Brad ain’t only thinking about this year
As much as i would love to have Hutchinson back, i dont want to force it. Needs to be 100 percent better. Btw defense has been good with or with out him.
