Hutchinson return possible by NFC Championship

Glazer can report anything…

This was my experience almost to a T. Broke the main weight bearing bone in the ankle. Let me tell you, there is nothing fun about that. I was walking and literally dropped to the ground. Tried to get up and take a step and dropped a second time. I cried. I poo’d in my pants the pain was so traumatic which of course set in shock, hence the poo.

At any rate. Cast for 8 weeks minimum. My leg looked like a tightly shaved carrot stick.

You obviously did a little better than me, because it took me 18 months to be able to jog without much trouble.

The thing that trips me out most is that Hutch is still in the top 20 for sacks this season. He sits 5 sacks behind number one, tied with Crosby at 7.5, and only 0.5 behind our very own Z. Smith. Man, he would have most likely had a monster year, in regard to the numbers, and would have had an honest shot at breaking Strahan/T.J. Watts single season record.

I wonder if they use electrical stimulus on hutchs calf to keep it at least somewhat close to normal.

Without a doubt it will be/would have been a part of his treatment plan to help retrain the muscles to fire correctly both independently and with targeted exercises.

This you? :eyes:

I guess I’ve accepted that we won’t see him again this year, and if we do that’s a bonus.

Do have to wonder how much get off and lower body strength he’d have in any case. Who knows, as coach says if anybody can do it, Hutch can. I’m just resigned to not believing it til I see it.

Bubba Baker’s record u mean…
