Don’t get me wrong fellas. Like I said, it’s only partially true. Of course I want them to win it all. I’m not saying they can’t. I believe they can! Thats what I mean. Long term competitiveness knowing they can win any given year.
Like, the 49’ers lost in the SB. I thought the Ravens would win it all, but they lost. I didn’t think the Chiefs would make it to the SB, but they won. All those teams, including others, will be back, and they will be SB contenders again. That’s what I want.
The Packers were contenders for decades. And we had to watch them in misery. And while we all sat here hoping to just beat them, or hoping to win the division, or hoping to get a wild card spot. Me being happy if we got 9 wins, or 10 wins or OMGosh 11 wins!

Of course the goal is a SB win, and if they keep building how they are it could be multiple superbowls. But just the fact that they are competitive is what I want more than anything long term. I’m tired of being jealous over other teams. I want to finally complain about not winning the SB. I want to join that group.

I read it as he wanted Bresee with our #6 pick and missed where he wanted Bijan first and then Bresee, although I don’t recall having 2 firsts and 2 seconds to begin the draft, did we?..I think that’s where I got confused. Anyways, nothing about a TE there though.
