I would die of happiness if we pulled this 7-rounder off

It’s basically nothing but guys on my crush list. The guys at PFN have clearly studied Brad’s type.

Spoilers ahead:

28 - Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
60 - Wyatt Milum, iOL, West Virginia
102 - Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State
130 - Que Robinson, SAM, Alabama
196 - Andrew Armstrong, WR, Arkansas
228 - Cam Horsley, iDL, Boston College
244 - Rayuan Lane, S, Navy

Might help us less knowledgeable types if you added the position beside the name.

Copying Dane? Or is this a thing

He’s thought to be a sure thing high level teams player. We’ve been pretty explicit as to how much we value that type of thing on day 3.

To believe there’s a world where M. Williams falls to 28, would that not mean there’s also a world where he also falls well into the second round?

I was just reading through this mock. Absolutely love it!

I think the draft people are learning the type of character we like in our guys, so when they see military academy they assume it’s a good fit. And honestly, it is. The only question is does he get drafted or go the UDFA route.

There’s a world for everything, if you listen to the philosophers.

I don’t. No chance he falls into the 2nd. Judging by the stuff you’re starting to hear now, I’d be pretty surprised if he makes it to 28, despite it happening pretty regularly in the mocks. The league-connected guys are talking about him much earlier. I’ve heard the Saints really like at him 9 for instance if they don’t go QB, that sort of thing.

I’ll be shocked if he’s here there at 28. Figure we would have to trade up for him if that the guy they really love.

The statisticians, too. If he can fall that far, he can probably fall even further.

That could be mean there’s something the real insiders know that we don’t.

And there there are guys like Branch who fell for no good reason.

Williams allegedly has one testicle far larger than the other. Teams are concerned about balance and coordination. Mahogany lasted to round 6 for similar eeasons.

That one was more predictable, though, due to his position. In fact I called him dropping to the 2nd multiple times in here before that draft. Edges, if anything, get pushed UP the board. Just like OTs.

Again I’m just basing this on what I’m hearing from the connected guys like Tony Pauline. The community often gets carried away with guys falling or rising during the lead up to the draft, only for the draft to happen and things turn out more like we had them back in January, before all the narratives started. That doesn’t mean he’s 100% to go before our pick or anything, but unless there’s an injury issue we don’t know about, and I’ll give you that is always possible, I just don’t see anyway he falls into the 2nd. Not with his character, frame, juice and the history of Georgia DLs outperforming their Georgia tape.

DL and OL and I got a boner

Everything else is gravy

I don’t see Mykel falling to 28 but I can see a lot of D Lineman falling to a degree just because there are so damn many. We could see a surprise like 4 TEs and 4 CBs go in the first. Just a supply and demand thing. If you want a TE there are only 4 otherwise your waiting until day 3 to get one. For the D Line you can choose between 5 or 6 in any of the 7 rounds.

Plus Brad is The Rain Man of drafting late round safeties. If he picks them, it’s a slam dunk. I’d like to think…

That’s fair, the depth could push guys down the board a little. But like you I don’t think it will be Mykel. Pearce, Scourton, JTT, Jackson, maybe Mike Green. Those types.

I’d love this draft if they traded up a bit from round 3, and took T Horton.

I think Milum is a glove fit and while I’m nervous about not really adding a stud DT in a stud DT class… it checks a lot of boxes

I think Farmer is going to be a better pro than where he’s getting projected. Maybe not quite the Kobie Turner results, but he’s a guy I expect to be in the round 1 conversation in a look back redraft.

I’m a huge fan of Horton too, as you know, but I also love Jacob Parrish. Hard for me to fault them for this one. And getting Andrew Armstrong later - another of my crushes - takes the sting off missing out on Horton.

I don’t know a ton about Parish.
