There was nothing wrong with that trade. Terrion was the consensus top or 2nd rated corner and most of us were very happy with that trade so lots of hindsight here. It’s the Rake pick when he was already injury prone and all the mid round trade ups for Martin, Manu, Vaki and Teslaa where Brad lost the plot.

No. There is another thread talking about Teslaa. The lions win with an elite offense. JAMO is vital to that. The Lions handpicked a player they felt the most comfortable with replicating what JAMO can do to an extent and therefore keep Saint and Laporta open and free to roam.
Brad does not like to waste picks. So he will go get players he identifies over guys who he and his group feels less strongly about. It works sometimes and it doesn’t work sometimes. Playing the hindsight 20/20 game is a fool’s game. The reality is people continued to expect Brad’s hit rate of the first few drafts. And that was mathematically unlikely.

Was going to post this if someone didn’t… Jamo is most dangerous taking the crossers to the house IMO… It negates his average (at best) ball tracking, making the catch much easier. It also maximizes Goff’s accuracy and timing and limits the OL’s short comings bc the ball comes out quick. Let Jamo eat YAC

Getting “riled” up is a personal choice. Nothing I said was controversial.
You don’t see me “crying” or taking anything personal over other people’s opinions/takes. If everyone would practice cordial dialog then there’s nothing to get “riled” up over. Or better yet, ignore what you don’t agree with. I disagree with people all the time. That doesn’t give me the right to call them “troll” over a different opinion.

This narrative that TeSlaa was brought in as a possible replacement for Jamo sounds absolutely ridiculous to me. 2 completely different types of wide receivers, that play 2 different positions in our wide receiver packages. The only thing that makes sense is that Brad was trying to stop the revolving door of acquiring FA vets to fill the X receiver role. Which now happens to be the exact position that TeSlaa is playing.
