Eagles are built for games like this.
Rams (and, specifically Stafford), are not.
He has 1 win, 8 losses, 12 INTs, 54% passing completion percentage, and it’s supposed to snow/rain in Philly.
People like Orlovsky can talk all they want about the resurgence of LA, but I think Philadelphia kicks the shit out of them. That D line in LA has not faced anything close to an offensive line like what the Eagles have.
I absolutely agree that those elements favor Philly.
The one thing about the Rams is they have shown they can use a very quick, short route passing attack at times. They may have to lean heavy on that and Williams.
I’m already preparing for the return of CJGJ to FF. He talked a lot of shit when he left last year so if Philly wins I hope we are using that as motivation and planning to pick at him to draw the inevitable PF he was good for when he didn’t like someone.
I want the Eagles to win because I want to see how Detroit fairs against a stalwart like Philly. It would be a measuring stick, I think. I’m also exhausted from the Stafford-Detroit storyline.
Also, my son is a diehard Philly fan and it’d make the NFC championship a blast to attend with him.
Also … also, I want the Eagles to lose because there is no way I can afford two tickets to the NFC championship game.
I wonder if it will be jamo burning him deep that causes it, laporta running him over, or maybe amon ra with his lovable antics after breaking his ankles on a button hook.
I want the Ravens out. The Ravens are like +112 against playoff season. I believe the Lions were second at like +36. Going off of recall so I may be off a tiny bit. But that’s the gist of it. During the regular season the Draven’s were far and away the most dominant team when playing playoff teams.
I dont know if i care too much who wins… we need to beat whoever comes into our house to get to the SB. But honestly i fear the rams offense more than the eagles as i feel like for the eagles we have to focus the run game where the rams have a lot more explosive weapons on turf.
Mobile qb sucks so it could be a wash. Defensively both bring pressure in different ways but i trust our oline and goff to perform.
Yup, I am leaning in that direction as well. For whatever reason I kinda think the bills game wasn’t repeatable. Allen had an insane game. Players made plays and catches that are hard to duplicate and we scored 40 plus points…I just think the thing that is more repeatable is our offensive production vs Josh repeating that game at that level against AG.
Every year Dano is all over Stafford and Mcvay. Doesn’t matter that we literally beat them 2 games in a row. Has to be hard on Mcvay having Goff end his season last year and then give him another L to start this season.
And to be honest, the month leading up to the playoffs Stafford didn’t look good at all…but to his credit he looked much better last week.
Doesn’t mean we win it all, but there isn’t a more rounded or better offense in the NFL than the Lions.
