Bah, resurgence. They scored 12, 13 and 19 points in their last 3 games with Stafford before the playoffs (week 18 he didn’t play). Last week they got the reeling Vikings, and had Dan’s quote (and the fires) as motivation.
I think the Eagles stomp them. Bad enough that everyone will be saying all week that we don’t have a shot against them.
How do you stop Baltimore when they decide to run the option. Henry is the game changer compared to past seasons. If they really decide to let Lamar run, there is going to be trouble.
If you are talking about that Matt Flynn game you are right about everything except the snow. I mean it was cold but it didn’t snow. Now Stafford has played in a snow game in Philly and that game was wild. Jeremy Ross had two returns for TDs and Shady went crazy on the Lions defense in that snow.
I know you were not talking to me but I want Buffalo to win. I want them to go to the Superbowl so we can rematch against them with a healthier team. When we win the superbowl I want the world to know we beat the best all the way through the playoffs and in the SB. We play our best and I believe we hoist the trophy.
I think Baltimore is a bad matchup for the Lions. I like their chances better against Buffalo because in a Super Bowl the Lions should be a much healthier team, especially on defense. That all said I’d love for them to beat Patrick Mahomes!
Yeah I thought that loss was embarrassing….especially since he did that to the Lions’ starters and got a pay day out of it only to get beaten out by a rookie 3rd round pick….
If it wasn’t for McCoy going off on us for over 200 yards when we had Stafford in Philly in the Snow bowl, we would have won that game. It’s hard to stop running back in the snow especially one that’s light on his feet like Barkley or McCoy. Defense has to try not to make hard cuts when in pursuit.
