We had our chance with Ed Oliver , my default pick for us since Josh Allen was gone.
Truth is, see what position Quinn misses the worst on this year and that will be his pick next year.

I think they made a good comparison earlier in JK being very similar to Emmitt Smith than anyone else.
Dobbins seems a little more dynamic IMO though.
Would not spend ions 1st rounder on him, but you have to llok at him with the 2nd round pick. He fixes a lot of the Lions offensive issues.

If Bo continues his ascendance I don’t think we can spend the draft capital it would take to grab Dobbins. Just too many more pressing needs. Dobbins is terrific though

I guess I say this every year, but we could get a lot of draft capital THIS year if we trade down. Maybe it would allow us to trade back up into the bottom of the first for one of the top RB’s.

Wouldn’t mind having Dobbins as a Lion, but he didn’t strike me as some freak athlete who should be taken in the 1st round or anything like that. Decent speed and takes what the OL gives him, but I didn’t see him leaving defenders in his wake or anything dominant like that.
I’m not sure Dobbins will be a good pro…but I loved seeing him rip that arrogant ass Team Up North to shreds yesterday:joy:
Geez, guys. The Lions do not need a 1st round RB! Or 2nd round, 3rd round, or 4th round. They need a run-blocking OG, OT, DT, Edge rusher, CB, LB, and a slot WR if Amendola leaves. Okay, maybe if the guy is the next Barry Sanders, otherwise hell no. This team sucks on defense, they’ve had a lead in every fucking game and lost it most of the time cuz the Lions OL can’t run-block for shit and run out the clock. Our RB breaks off a 20 yarder and it comes back on the holding penalty and now it’s 1st and 20. 2 runs later it’s 3rd and 15 and we’re fucked.

I hear ya, but Quinn already went all in on those position and failed terribly. He shouldnt be allowed to draft 1 more player in his lifetime.
