The draft could have gone this way…. We’d be significant worse off at RB, but could have kept Swift in this scenario-

Darnell Washington was a fav in here, and word is he’s killing it campbell in Pitt.

Not gonna lie, I was frustrated that they passed on Carter especially knowing that the Eagles would nab him but they had their reasons so we’ll just have to defer to Holmes but he’s exactly the type of player that teams will regret passing on if he pans out especially this team that didn’t adequately address DT (I think Martin is a long term project). I think Carter+3rd rounder would raise their ceiling more than Gibbs+Laporta but it is what it is so… Go Gibbs and Laporta.

It was never a question of talent with Carter. Just don’t think he fits our locker room. Honestly carter went to the best place he could with guys that can hopefully keep him out of trouble.

Carter didn’t have the production he should have had in college. I really think it was because he was in such poor shape. If anyone gets him in peak physical condition where he can play like he can in short bursts for much longer periods of time, then watch out. It’s not surprising he shined when he only played a couple of snaps. It’s the conditioning that gets him.

Hindsight is a special thing.

We can use it to judge our past choices, and hopefully improve future decisions.

However, we can’t go back and re-make those choices.

All we can do is make the best choice we can at the time that we need to make the choice.

We won’t be perfect at it… Neither will Brad Holmes.

But I understand why he passed. It makes sense. Will Carter be great? Maybe. Does it make sense to stress a lot about the choice? Nope. We make our choices, then make the best of the result. Onward!

That seems like a stretch.

Though I watched Naked Gun in the theatre. Therefore as a participant in Nicole Brown’s death I don’t have a leg to stand on.
