The weirder part for me is what is it with that program and driving irresponsibly. It’s still happening this offseason after such a horrible tragedy. And these kids have so damn much to lose. Like almost every one on that team has NFL potential if they get the right breaks.
The accident was troubling, and he’s an idiot, but more concerning for his career is that he was completely gassed vs OSU, and then he was gassed at his own Pro Day. He really needs someone to drive him much harder than he was getting at Georgia. Funny thing is, Stafford was out of shape too when we got him from Georgia.

Yeah Luther Ellis had 3 sacks too IN THE PRESEASON. I’ll pump the brakes until Carter is facing starting level caliber O linemen who are game planning for his out of shape, winded ass.

I doubt Gibbs , makes anyone forget Carter, Gibbs looked ok , but wasn’t nothing special. It’s a small sample size. Will see, but I’m not sure he’s the player some are making him out to be. If Carter becomes that Dominate Inside rusher. I don’t think Gibbs can live up to that.
I think they think he is a knucklehead. As simple as that. The talent and performance will be undeniable, until he loses interest or does something stupid. If he keeps his nose clean for that first contract I will be surprised.

we fans-wanted Carter and there was plenty of hop we got Thibs to, out of anything I could say…as one of you already mentioned…IF Dan Campbell & Holmes wanted them-they would be on the roster.

Agreed…I would have preferred Carter (my first choice was Will Anderson) but not gonna belly-ache over passing on him. @QBHATER90 warned us all that Carter would not be a Lion

Kinda how i see it too man. If are mad about not getting Carter, do we doubt Brad? There were reasons he was not taken. Lot of reasons actually. I have heard Anderson was the top choice as well…trade back up for Gibbs from 18 if that scenario had played out.
Do it anyway man…just to surprise people!
