Title speaks for itself, great interview. That’s our QB, wouldn’t trade him for anybody. There’s no better fit for this offense, culture and city.

We love you, brother Goff…& we are happy AF to have you.
2nd best trade in NFL history!
Begs the question, what was the best trade in NFL history?
In 1989, at the peak of Walker’s NFL career, the Cowboys sent Herschel Walker to the Vikings for five players and six draft picks.
The players were LB Jesse Solomon, DB Isiac Holt, RB Darrin Nelson, LB David Howard, and DE Alex Stewart.
The picks turned into players such as Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, and Darren Woodson.
Emmitt Smith is one of the greatest—if not the best—running backs in NFL history. He is the all-time leading rusher with 18,355 yards. His 175 total touchdowns rank him second all-time behind Jerry Rice (207).
Cowboys went from being a shitty team to a perennial contender
C’mon, Kwesi! Viking history can be yours, buddy! Let’s make a deal!
That’s the best QB interview I have ever seen. The dude is as genuine as they come. He keeps his head down and puts in the work and just lets his play talk for him, he is resilient. Has become one of my favorite players of all time. The guy has the attitude of what champions are made of. Great interview
And then there is Mrs Goff
…& handsome!
Yup was pure gold!
Jason G three things about I wrote from my predraft review and interview of you:
Physically and mentally tough, Goff had it then and had it from day one in Detroit. He never quit, like his dad told him.
What he learned from his dad…hard work, there is only one way; through.
outstanding interview !!
My dad is a hero to me too. He’s taken care of my mother (his wife since 1962) for over twenty years after she had a severe back injury and two failed surgeries - and now has advanced dementia. He never complains. Talk about resilient.
Goff’s interview was good too! But I might like Christen’s better.
@BigNatty must be sick today. Go lick 3 toads, come back and say you’re sorry.
Thanks for posting this - great interview!
Love that guy.
HIGH-quality QB. HIGH-quality human.
Mrs. Goff is quite lumpy up top.
I’m loving the narrative that surrounds the Dan Campbell Experience and the last nearly 4 years of revival. It’s perfect. Yet I’d appreciate occasional blowback and naysayers pointing out where this party bus could veer and plunge off the cliff. I’m mean, outside The Den.
I guess I’m like the newly clean addict wondering what these strange feelings of serenity and clarity are. It’s gonna take some time to get used to being a fan of a model franchise.
It is a great time to be a Lions fan. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Makes me sad that Lionmom, sheslion, Bittersyd, and many others, including personal acquaintances and family members that were not affiliated with the Den, who were taken before they could experience this. It’s just not fair.
How is the hip doing by the way? I know you’re about a week away from surgery.

They are loving every moment with a front row seat brother. I truly believe that.
@BitterSyd we miss you brother. Go Lions Go!!!

I doing well. The last pain management shot 3 months ago is losing its effectiveness as expected, and the timing of this surgery is perfect. I expect good results, but whatever they are, I know the decision is right. As long as they replace the right hip and not the left…
