He’s 30 in July. Two first round picks for likely three years of elite DT play. Not my cup of tea. I’d wish good luck to them but I wouldn’t mean it.

yeah, its def an overpay
similar to Packers with Parsons though, Superbowl or bust now for the bears, if they crash and burn gonna be VERY ugly.

Absolutely love that the Bears aren’t getting a swing in next years draft until about pick ~55 at the earliest. How did that kind of compensation come to be part of the convo? Nuts!
I love the way the Bears do things. They really like to spend in FA and via trade. Not the recipe for sustained success. Everyone in the division does things differently then us…LOVE IT!
