Even if he has a great year in 2024ā€¦
he might struggle to get that contract on the open market.

Plusā€¦ they could have tagged him and worked on a deal.

Iā€™m not sure they could afford to tag him. If he is tagged doesnā€™t the entire salary go against the cap? By signing him they can spread the cap hit out with a bonus. I am no cap guru but I think thatā€™s how it works.

Judy has great moves, but balls tend to drop in his hands. He can sink his oily hips and get in and out effortlessly and explosively. But the Browneyeā€™s wonā€™t rely on Judy alone. Watson will spread the load around. They also have a punishing ground game that never stops trying to pound the middleā€¦even when its stopped over and over and over again. Getting a head is key, because then big Myles Garrett can exploit protection issues.

Overall I see a happy ending to the Browns season.
