Man, @Phunnypharm just told me Dallas get’s the 12th pick and the 20th pick (Packers). I have to talk about this.

Basically, Jerry traded Micah Parsons for Kenny Clark, Quinnen Williams, and a 1st round pick. That is some serious robbery. What if he drafts a DE. Then he traded Parsons for a whole arse DL.

The Packers just choked against the Bears and are out. They lost Parson for the season, and who knows when he’ll be back for next season, they lost two first round picks, and Kenny Clark.

This is bigtime robbery.

Needs to go get Max. He’s scheduled to make 29mil the next 3 season. A bargain compared to Micah’s salary.

I understand not wanting to pay Parsons long term but the Cowboys defense still sucks. And now Parsons is seriously injured. Trade aint looking too good for either team right now.

Diggs and Bland seemed to cover WRs better when Micah was a Cowboy. :thinking::thinking::thinking:

I don’t know man. If I was them I’d go with a DE with either their 12th or 20th pick. I think Micah is overrated. Great pass rushing LB, but not much of a run stopper. I know Dallas struggled on defense, but Clark is very good, and QW is one of the best DT’s I expect them to get that figured out. On top of a 1st round pick. If they draft a good DE thats basically an entire DL. Its not even close to me. To me this is serious robbery.

Well that is where we disagree.

There are two guys that create quick pressure more efficiently than all of the other guys. It’s Garrett and Micah.

What’s that worth? Eye of the beholder. But it’s worth a lot to me.

In the vast majority of cases, trading away 2 1st round picks for a player hasn’t worked out. Injury is one of the big reasons, as we saw this year with Parsons and Sauce.

But Clark, Quinnen and the 20th pick isn’t that great of a haul honestly. Clark is 30, that’s a very short term rental in his case, and they already wasted a year of him being a bad defense. Also, keep in mind they gave up Parsons and a 2023 1st rounder to complete that haul. It wasn’t just Parsons for in exchange for the listed compensation.

The Packers literally lost every game he didn’t finish and they had the 1 seed the game he got hurt. A top 5 defense across the board to the 30th best after he got hurt

Meanwhile the Cowboys defense was ass the entire time Kenny Clark and Williams were on the team. In fact the rumor is locally Clark might get cut

Dallas also used some of the money that was for micah to extend bland and others. And GB dumped a bunch into micah’s pockets.

Once Jerry uses that first for Maxx Crosby then it will be the greatest series of trades in NFL history. What Jerry is doing is putting on a clinic in the trade market. A 3rd for Pickens too LOL.

People love to hate Jerry… but the reality is that he is a very good GM, and has bigger balls than our scared GM.
