Just saw he’s not practicing until he gets a new deal. Not sure how legit it is but seems believable.

Love had a good 1st year starting… but here’s where drafting and sitting him for 3 years hurts. He’s already looking for massive money after 1 good season. They had a 1st round qb on a rookie deal and they basically wasted his cheap seasons

Everyone, stop trashing Love until he signs a megadeal.

I’d give him credit for having one half of a good season.

He was awesome in the 2nd half, but I’m not sure that he’s proven to be worth 60 mill per year. Regression is as likely as progression with him…IMO

Nailed it!

I call it the ā€˜Kwesi’ rule. Everyone just keep spouting off about how brilliant/talented they are, and how terrified we are about their coming dominance. Then, everyone who reads our message boards will give them huge extensions!

Of course, mods need to delete this super secret message once the word is out…

It fascinates me that discussions of Goff’s worth were often marbled with the value of Ben Johnson’s scheme to Goff’s effectiveness.

Yet Jordan Love’s breakout second half of 2023 had nothing to do with Matt LaFleur’s genius? Whatever. I hope Jordan Love leverages the Packer’s desperation to the max before the League catches up this year.

I don’t expect Love to implode, but a loving God would not allow the CheeseWhiz another HOF QB so soon. I’m watching, God. Don’t fail me now.

On the other hand, seeing a great QB twice a year will help us to get used to all the great QBs we’re gonna be seeing in the playoffs every year for the next decade.

True. And it’s more satisfying to beat the best competition. But Tom Brady didn’t find that to be an impediment on the way to winning 7 Super Bowls.

There’s only one team to beat: The next one.

Love should go on a retreat with ARog and gain some negotiation perspicaciousness.

It seems the Trevor Lawrence contract is the floor for Love.
That contract happens to be the highest in the league on average.
So Love won’t practice until he gets a contract of at least $275M that averages at least $55M with at least $200M guaranteed.
Lions win either way.
He doesn’t practice for a long time or he eats up a lot of the Packer cap space.

We don’t want that. Going into a space like that with a pure heart would turn him into a fantastic leader. Rodgers is a bad example because he’s taking his ego to lead the ceremony, instead of relaxing into his god energy.

I would love to work with Aaron Rodgers after he retires…AFTER He retires

Best-case scenario:

  1. Packers overpay.

  2. Better defenses in the NFC North this year show Love to be a mediocre QB not worthy of that contract.

  3. The Packers franchise and fanbase implodes in on itself like a dying star.

Oh, I only meant in contract negotiations, So he could put the team in a financial bind.
