Juwan throws a punch… Michigan is just imploding

No big deal… Invite yourself over to apologize and then wipe your dirty shoes on his couch.

LOL - this would have been a much better way to handle it.

Really crappy way to handle himself, for sure. I had a guy get up in my face after a game once too. Coached 7th ad 8th grade hoops for a couple of years. I just stood my ground and winked at him without saying a word.

Uofm would be so much better off with him. Hell of a recruiter and a shit coach. I was sad john Beilein, dude did it right. Had nothing bad to say about him class act all the way. I don’t see him fired , and im thinking he gets away with it.

Am Rick James bitch… Charlie Murphy

LOL - Cage match is always a good answer!

I’ll never understand wanting to do physical damage to someone for…words. it shows a lack of intelligence and control.

If he should have hit anyone over a timeout it should have been Chris Webber.

I am a U of M fan and alumni. He should get fired.

He is in one of the two most visible roles for the University (football and men’s basketball head coaches). He is supposed to lead young men, is insanely well paid, and should be held to a higher (not lower) standard than others.

He should be fired.

It’s like Bobby Knight or Woody Hayes. Not acceptable.

Objectively, he should be fired.

You can’t do what he did as a head coach. At some point you have to recognize this is still college and part of your job is shaping boys into men. That may be an antiquated notion, but I still believe its part of the coach’s responsibility in college athletics.

Its an unfortunate situation.

He just wants to earn his street cred with the recruits.

It also lead to a few of his players throwing punches. Its not a good look for no one. Touching a elbow should have not made him so mad. Calling a TO, when Howard has done the same thing twice this year, should never get you that pissed, when you were playing press. Refs told Gard you call a TO you get a full 10 seconds to get it up court instead of the 4 seconds to try to.

It sucks because I don’t think Wisconsin is innocent at all in this. He was most certainly provoked (but not justified).

At the end of the day, striking somebody is one of the few things you can’t get away with as a head coach. I can’t see a way out of this for him. When the players are acting like the grown ups (some of them) its a problem.

Its almost like the figurehead umptymillionaire ex-player coaches who have little to no coaching creds are actually in this not to shape young men into positive additions to society, but to stay on the gravy train and cable channels😉

Hey, maybe he was just trying to get some NIL boost for whichever shithead player would join him in throwing punches.

NFT THAT SHIT JUWANN!

$$$$$$$$

But he was just “protecting himself”

All 6’9" 260 lb former elite athlete from a balding 5’7" dude the size of Tom Cruise.

From what touching a elbow? He told the Maryland coach last year he wanted to kill him.

Howard has to control himself, but more than just words were spoken out there. So if we are going to start firing people, let’s make sure it’s more than just one person.

One guy is trying to separate and de-escalate

One guy is throwing punches.

No narrative, no circumstances…just actual video evidence.
