Everything came from Howard. The finger in the face was threatening. The bitch slap was just outrageous. And he’s going to keep his job isn’t he. The UM is such a woke/joke of a university. Doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun with it though.

Is anybody surprised that a member the Fab Five got hired as a coach and it ended with somebody getting bitch slapped?
Unless we are redefining the English language, that wasn’t a punch.
Gard should be suspended a game. He shouldn’t have grabbed Howard. Never put your hands on someone who’s already upset. It’s only going to escalate.
Suspend any player who threw a punch.
Krabbenhoft should get a few game suspension. Walk away. If you’re trying to separate anyone, separate your own.
Howard should be suspended the rest of the season.

That was a grab? Come on man. These too guys have always touched each other after the game. Slap to the face is a assault. Do i agree its assault, no, but its 2022. Touching a elbow is nothing. If it was a grab then Gard is weak.
That would be a bad punishment. Kid is a thug.

He stopped Howard who was continuing to walk because he wanted to argue his point. That’s all fine and great, after Howard has calmed down. Howard hadn’t calmed down. When you put your hands on someone who is upset, things are likely to escalate. How far Howard took it is on him. That’s why I think Gard should get a game and Howard the rest of the season.

Lol. So touching a elbow. Leads two a slap in a face, and his players throwing punches. Howard is a bitch. If you slap or punch someone at work, do you get fired. Yes or no? If howard doesn’t play press on walk ons this never happens. This isn’t Howards 1st time getting into with a coach. But lets blame touching a elbow for this. Should gard touched him probably not. But Howard is the head coach at a pretty great university.

I didn’t blame Gard. I think I spelled out pretty clearly who most of the blame lies with and I feel the punishment should reflect that.

Gard grabbed his arm to IMO stop him so he coukd have a word. Not smart, as you said Howard was already chirping at him. Edifying behavior that as well. Howard gives him a Mutombo a few millimeters from his nose and now nobody likes anything…

The thing is you can take a timeout whenever you want. I probably haven’t watched a basketball game in a couple of decades and I still know that.
