Sounds like the rams dumpster fire continues.

Eh, “I felt pretty bad last week. I put my foot in my mouth pretty good last week.” I think if you’re going to have a podcast and discuss your husbands job, sooner or later you’re going to say something controversial, intended or not.

I don’t think it’s a big deal. Kelly probably said what Matt wanted to say, but couldn’t.

I dunno guys but I love Kelly Stafford and love how passionate she is about her husband. Every dude should have a girl like her by their side

Agreed. And she has a nice rack to boot (or motorboat).

Doesn’t hurt that she’s a blonde bombshell :joy:

And the Honey Badger needs to stay in its lane too, but it don’t care.

Coupled with being an airhead, completes the ensemble.

Love Kelly. Gonna get me one of those. She loves honestly, fiercely, intensely, unapologetically. Her family is lucky to have her.

We need football to star. Shheeesh. As for the people that think thaat’s a big deal…It may be time to re assess who teh drama queen is.

I’d imagine, those young WR’s feeling their dad’s left them, now their QB might. Why develop feelings for someone. Stafford and his wife, probably had parents and rich.

Allow me to rephrase… “why see the good in people?”

Sure, it’s easier to sit around and bitch about others, to judge them, etc. It’s teh difference between being significance driven (meeting your need to feel important by running others down), and meeting your need for love/connection (feeling a bond with others that you see good in, and lifting them up)

If you must know why ppl do it, there’s your answer.

So? If I have kids one day, I hope they have rich parents too. Does that make ppl bad, or is it just more judgement for the sake of poop slinging?

Only women, children, and dogs are loved unconditionally, but in order for a man to be loved he has to provide something of value. Chris Rock quote.

These men are brought up by women, and seeing fathers leave because of money. Escape on your phone is better than the real world sometimes. Especially when an old rich QB and his wife, tell you to run faster and try harder. When no one tells his mom, that’s she’s fat, and shouldn’t have divorced dad, because he’s just as replaceable as you.

Also phone use can distract from emotional and physical pain.

I think you may be kind of missing the point that Stafford was trying to make. He wants to have a human connection with the members of his team, rather then a digital one. That is all and Kelly aired this laundry when she shouldn’t have, and feels bad about that.

If these individuals feel the need to hide in their phones because they never had a male influence in their lives perhaps they should recognize that that is what Stafford is trying to offer them…a legit relationship.

We are too buried in technology these days…at all levels. This is why I never pull my phone out when I go out with friends for beers/wings and I try to stay off it in the evenings so that I can actually interact with my children. My eldest daughter was not allowed a phone until grade 10 (she is in university now) and she does not go on it around me and we have conversation face to face which is very refreshing…taking same approach with my 3 year old and hope it also pays off.

Stafford’s attempt to connect sounds shallow and outdated. Like Boomer bosses at a company, telling everyone we’re family. Only to fire you after an injury, and take your pension. I think people are wising up to these tactics.

Stafford should of just had a pizza like all the companies do. One topping pizza at Papa John’s. Then I don’t feel guilty after anything bad happens. Why is there a worker shortage? Nobody wants to work! Except for year’s they always said, “If you don’t like working here, find another job.” Well everyone did and checked out.

While there can absolutely be truth to all of that…
Don’t put your daddy issues onto Matt and Kelly.
Also…why are rich people bad? WTF does that have to do with anything.

I was raised in a 600-ish sq ft house and shared a bedroom the size of a walk-in closet with my 2 brothers. There was only room for 2 beds in there, so I slept on the floor. The handed down dresser was in the hallway, so it was a tight fit to squeeze into it.

I used ot think middle class ppl were rich.
…also, I though rich ppl were bad…so in my eyes, damn near everyone was evil on some level.

When I got older and started doing volunteer work, I discovered that MOST of the rich ppl I know were amazing. They are healthier physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and FINANICALY…

Wanna know why? Cuz healthy people do healthy shit!
Taking care of yourself/self love.
Health perspective, financial perspective, relationships, spirituality, emotionally, etc. It all bleeds in.

Matt has never had trouble connecting with teammates before. While age may be a factor now, money never was.

I could go WAY into this.

I like most rich people, some are bad. Rich people though, have this mentality that if you work hard, that’s all you need. Bullshit. Sometimes not working is the best move.
California is a whole other beast. LA is all about money. People don’t even talk to you, and treat you like trash, if you don’t have money or don’t know anyone. I lived there for a year and got smart and left.
