Good teams don’t fall this low if they have even decent backups. Our defense doesn’t even need to be great. Just decent and we can’t even muster that up because we don’t have the talent.

Its why Shep should be fired.
The talent isn’t great but it’s not bottom 2 defense in the NFL talent.
So what happened between this year and last? Jack doesn’t strike me as a guy that’s going to coast once he gets paid.
I listed Anzalone under good things. Amik would also be a starter given our current DBs.
I am not saying anyone should be fired, merely this is the house they built and now they are living in it.
Placing all the blame on one person is asinine. Especially when that one person is at the mercy of decisions made he didn’t control. They all share a piece of this.

These guys aren’t getting put in the right places to even make the plays.
Amik and Alex were here and the defense was still ass. The only time those players ever above average was under AG.
The Lions are currently 2nd in the NFL in getting pressures without blitzing but Shep is still sending the most obvious blitzes and most frequent blitzes .If I know what’s coming as a fan then I know the other team does.
Whats funny is we actually probably need to go back to man 75% of the time and just seeing what happenes

We have always been terrible with linebacker who can’t cover. You can go back to the early 80s.
