I was just looking at the new Tigers top 30 prospects. There is some interesting things in there.
The 17 year old Chris Rodriguez is all the way up to #8.
I expected that Max Anderson would take a big leap, but he is still ranked #22

Dude is my favorite underrated prospects. Absolutely raking in AA. Would love to see what he could do at the AAA level.

Based on that list I’d prefer to keep 7 of the top 11.
Clark, McGonigle, Briceno, Liranzo, Rainer, Rodriguez, and Melton.

I think I’d be ok with losing Liranzo if it brought back a really good player. Only because he and Briceno bring the same types of things.

These guys have things a little differently than MLB. I don’t know if they put eyes on Chris Rodriguez yet and I believe they will rate players once they’ve actually seen them.
You’re not wrong in that opinion and I’m not gonna be upset if he gets traded. I think that Briceno sticks at first and Liranzo sticks at catcher so similar attributes but at different positions. I think there are still some questions on Liranzo’s hit tool as he progresses through the system.
Either way there are still some prospects that are not on your prefered keeper list that should bring back some very, very good players.

Yea, I’m curious to see how big of a swing Harris takes, Tigers have prospects to deal. Whether it’s a grand slam type swing, a double or a single.
Gonna be a fun couple weeks, although I think it will come down to the last 48hours of the deadline to moves really start happening. Wild card has a lot of teams thinking they are still in it. Gonna be a fun couple of days.
