I would take any of the AFC North HCs over LeFluer. Unless Chicago completely craps the bed again, LeFluer will be the 4th best HC in the NFCN. Great OC, pouty little wuss as HC.
The awards would mean more if they included the playoff results. A coach could be the number 1 seed, win COTY and lose by 28 in his first playoff game. Is he really coach of the year?

I think its dumb to just go by pre-season expectations. I mean, what is the reason the Lions had high pre-season expectations? Could it have anything to do with the fact that Dan Campbell was our coach? Circular reasoning at its finest.

I explained why I think itss dumb to only go by pre-season expectations.
Even when your pre-season expectations are low, like Minnesota’s expectations were.
The Lions pre-season expectations were high. Alot of that was due to Dan Campbell being a good coach.
Pre-season preditions are just talking heads’ opinions. To be basing CoY on that BS is … well…dumb.

The fact that we’ve won despite having a multitude of guys on IR should put DC ahead of everyone. Any other team would have crumbled at this point.

Being honest, KOC deserves it.
Everyone expected the Vikings to be around .500 this season. They’ve absolutely smashed the shit out of their preseason expectations.
Everyone expected us to win the division. We’ve probably exceeded expectations, but only slightly.
I don’t think it’s too hard for us to acknowledge that KOC has done an outstanding job. Dan Campbell has also done an outstanding job, but 13-2 with a .500 roster and Sam Darnold at QB is more impressive than 13-2 with a 12-3 roster, and some key injuries on defense.
Let’s be grown up about it.
