Appropriate to this convo I just got a little inside info. Was at a taproom watching MNF and a (very cute) customer was there with some girlfriends enjoying a night away from her squid.
She struck up a convo with me and we talked football. When I told her I was a Lions fan she said her BFF is married to ‘their old kicker, but now they are back in AZ’
Prater? I surmised. Indeed. Apparently Praters wife is from AZ and was a cheerleader for the Cards. They have three squids of their own and she HATED Michigan winters. She desperately wanted to move back to AZ
So as much as we all agree letting Prater walk was a bad move, Holmes might have been doing Prater a solid
