Practice reports say sorsdal and onwuzurike are the last two off the field. They’ve been staying late getting extra reps. Not sure where the work ethic questions about onwuzurike came from. He’s certainly putting in the work now. I’m rooting for the kid. He showed great flashes of what he could be his rookie season. I really hope he can stay healthy.

It is great to see, now when they put the pads on and he faces Sewell and Ragnow 10-20 times will be the real test on if his back is gonna hold up.

You have to really watch the games but Levi made some really good under the radar plays his rookie year. For example fighting off a double team to track down the running back. He made the tackle and limited the running back to a 5 yard gain on a play that otherwise would have gone for 30+.
There’s obviously still a ton he needs to learn and work on but he did flash the talent he has. If he’s actually able to stay healthy that could be a huge boost to our interior line.

I’m rooting for him as much as anybody. Love his personality. Fun loving crass individuals are right in my wheel house. Hence, this roster is damn near perfect. Not that they’re all that way but we have a few.

I diagnosed every snap he took in the 2021 season. It wasn’t pretty. He was routinely beat but his opponents and he was slow off the snap.
The game vs Denver he was lined up against their 3rd string IOL and that player just blew Levi off the ball with consistency. Before that game Levi had claimed his back was pain free and had felt great.
I dont know about the kid. He may make it or he may not but we will know soon enough.

Another day, another Levi update.
Today he had 37 predicted sacks, the pylons tried double teaming him, they had no luck. The sled quit half way through practice after Levi’s dominance and was replaced by a towel boy. The towel boy was rushed to the hospital moments after Levi sent him into orbit.

AG said today that Levi “still has a ways to go.” I think people expecting he’s going to come in and look like a solid contributor this season are setting themselves up for disappointment. At least initially. He’s a developmental player at this point who needs more work in the weight room and more reps.
It’s tough. He’s probably not far enough along to make the roster… but if you try and stash him on the practice squad a rebuilding team probably snatches him up.
