don’t go to the vikings, please.

I mentioned this in another thread yesterday, but if you follow that thought through with the rest of the roster, we could probably cut to about 43 players today. It doesn’t help that we have guys starting the season on IR, obviously, but there’s a ton of similar upgrades that are coming about due.

Nick Whiteside cut per Rich Silva. No more Mr. Whiteside.

Dan said: If Brad thinks he’ll clear, he’ll clear. He’s never been wrong. Dan usually doesn’t talk in superlatives, so yeah.

He thought Isaiah Williams would clear, too. Holmes is great, but no GM is 100%.

My 53-man sheet is taking absolute bullets this year. Damn near confetti and there’s another 23 hours to go, LOL.

He was cut mid season and signed off waivers.. not necessarily the same thing that MCDC was referencing

Skipper getting cut feels a lot like Reynolds getting cut a couple years ago. Handshake deal to bring him back once they move a player or two to IR after the initial 53.

The key is they have to go on the 53 man roster. Teams are trying to get down to 53 and working hard to protect players they cut. So unless you are 100% certain he is a plug and play and better than your others wr’s then it is a difficult decision to pick him up off waivers.

In the end, players come and go but our love is for the Detroit Lions. I grow attached to some of the guys who dominate for my favorite team, but generally not guys at the bottom of the roster. There are always exceptions of course, but for me Skip wasn’t one of them.

Looks like we aren’t signing Z.

There’s no way he makes it through waivers.

So I’m explain his jokes guy? Uh-oh.

Z would most likely be a post week 1 signing. He is a free agent, so anyone can take him anytime they want. That’s assuming the Lions do indeed want him back, probably not if he is looking to cash in.

Edit: Nevermind, my bad. I misunderstood what you were saying.

I doubt the status of his nephew being on the team ever really impacted it significantly

Reminds me when Big Ben left the Pistons for Chicago.. it was gutting but regardless of my love for him as a player, it was never going to change my fandom.

You should do it all the time. A new bit

It was a tongue in cheek comment.

I’m a bit disappointed. I was hoping Meeks would make it. He excites me more than Lovett.
