And we Know BH, likes to add void years and all that jazz to the contracts, similar to ARSB, expect it to be light the first year in cap hit, but second year is gonna be the big one.

If we werent gonna pay him, someone else was, maybe even more arguably
got him at a good deal, market is gonna jump, and in a couple season (Like most contracts) it will age well, and hes a huge part of our Dline.

He stops the run. Stopping the run is the engine behind this team winning. Since the beginning of last season (including playoffs) we are 3-4 when the opponent rushes for 100+ yards, and 15-3 when they don’t. You pay to keep your engine running.

As long as we somehow still have money to pay Hutch, Jamo, Kerby, Gibbs, Branch, and LaPorta, then I’m very happy we got this deal done.

I think Brad will try to find a way, but i do agree, we are getting to that point where we need to make some choices on who we keep and who we dont.

why I think our Dline will still be good is that him and DJ Reader provide enough disruption that even okay Edge’s should benefit from it.

well I don’t think they can keep Kerby and Branch. Kerby is 2025 and Branch is 2026
