He’s a hometown guy. He’s a little long in the tooth but for the right price I’m in unless there are character issues i don’t know about

I wonder if Z wants to much and Lions sending him a little message? The whole Judon thing seems odd to me. I mean Z was in the locker room and they know him? Unless Judon is a better player right now?

Smith got 9 sacks last season, 4 with us with no Hutch in 8 games. Judow had 5.5 in 17 games. Both will be 33 in the next 2 months. For me it’s less about the dough and more about the go.

I think Judon dropped back into coverage quite a bit. I’m good with either one….but I wonder how much each of them wants?

Not sure but Judon might be better against the run……I trust in Brad to get the right guy. But zadarius was pretty cool on our team and liked being a lion.

So I think the question isn’t whether or not Judon or Smith are the better player. It is who is willing to take what the Lions are offering. I’m guessing they have a set number they are willing to spend and Zadarius isn’t willing to come down. Leaking this will put some pressure on Smith to lower his asking price if he really wants to be here. If he doesn’t then we save some cash and sign Judon.

Judon looks to play “heavier” to me than Z. Looks like he would be perfect to help play the Big end and be part of the rotation. Probably big enough to move inside on passing downs as well. He looks like he’s built like Paschal.
