Also not a dig by any means… Always love reading your posts I guess I just read them as being more skeptical today than in the past… but you are very correct to be skeptical. That’s why I can’t wait for the season to start so it is just put up or shut up time. Wins need to happen or else it’s all a bunch of spiked kool aid

Man that’s the game I’m worried about. They blew us out of the water last year… and one game does not make a season but, I really hope and think if we can win that game or at least keep it close that will have a huge impact on our season.

Looking at the first 4 games… eagles commanders Vikings Seahawks… my expectation is we come out of that 2-2.
Im thinking 3-1, we should beat Washington and Seattle at home, the eagles are going to be a tough matchup, can the home crowd help push them to a W? Lots of questions with the vikings, think the split the Phiily Vikings games

I mean my kool aid brain is thinking 4-0. But 3-1 should be possible but I’ll be happy to split as this team gets it’s feet under them.
1-3 would be disappointing but only for the first 4 games.
Game 5 against NE… that to me is a revenge game although I don’t know the team feels the same way… but I would love to see them go out and beat the living hell out of the patriots and shut down pizza boy’s offense

Sewell and Ragnow will be nasty and ready to “get it”. St Brown, Chark…very fired up. J-Will and J-Will.
On D, there will be no shortage of getting after it, though they may lack the horses for certain scenarios (undersized DL)

Just glancing at the schedule… I feel we have a winnable first 4 games, the next 4 against the patriots cowboys dolphins packers is a big challenge… then we play bears giants Bills Jaguars… better than the previous quarter… then end with vikings jets panthers bears packers….
The second 4 game stretch will be the toughest going off last year. But that last 9 game stretch we have a ton of winnable games and if we can tread water for that first 8, we have a real chance to contend for a playoff spot.
If we can win the division against the bears and Vikings and split with Green Bay, then pick up the necessary wins against Washington, Jacksonville, NYG, NYJ… no reason we should not be in contention. Add an unexpected win and an unexpected loss, but we should be around .500 at the worst or if below with a real chance to bounce back in November/December

Going to go ahead and say it for the 16th time on behalf of myself and @BigNatty . Player, coach, motivational speaker, player relations, trainer, life coach, whatever. Never let this guy out of Allen Park or Ford Field for the rest of his life. Handcuff him to a goal post if you have to. There is no way to put monetary value on what he brings. Pay him to do whatever he wants to do in order to keep him here.

It’s a good schedule… kind of easy in a sense, and a lot of winnable games. But they gotta win them. Beat the teams you should beat.
I know a ton will change between now and December, but I’m looking forward to them rising to the occasion and winning those games they should win, along with winning a game or two they shouldn’t

I’ll try to temper my enthusiasm until the end of preseason… although we all know preseason means nothing… that first game against Philly is going to tell us a lot

I really don’t think it’s that accurate a barometer. We will still be having more grwogin pains. If they win that one, we are WAY ahead of expectations (Just my opinion). We had so many injuries last year, we don’t have continuity in position groups

DBs and Ol are probably most ahead of schedule, while everyone else has work to do, in my opinion. Goff and the wRs will be solid, but not all filled out until Jamo returns.
Basically like infusing 2 draft classes in one year.
